Simple, no frills wooden cutting board
This is exactly what I was looking for in a cutting board: a simple, no frills, piece of wood that isn’t crazy expensive. It’s a great size for me and my (tiny) kitchen, and it looks nice too.I had one before, which cracked (not the product’s faultâpeople kept putting it through the dishwasher), and all the other cutting boards that I looked at were plastic or had giant holes for handles (ie, space it takes up on my counter which I cannot use for chopping) or were gimmicky shapes or were well outside my price range, so I was really happy to find this one again.

Splinters all over the surface
Just received and hand washed it in cold water. Haven’t even used it but there are splinters all over the surface. If you cut on this board all those splinters will go to your food and in your stomach. This product should not be even considered for kitchen usage.

This cutting board consists of three layers. The middle layer is at right angles to the outside layers. This makes it very stable and strong. We had another bamboo cutting board with only one layer that started to fall apart after a while.
