Love this metal pie plate!
I have been trying to improve my pie making skills over the past few Thanksgivings. I recently saw a post on reddit with a beautiful pie, and the person who posted it shared that they recommend using a metal pie plate to help the bottom pie cook better, preventing a soggy bottom crust. I made a pecan pie for Thanksgiving and a turkey pot pie a few days after Thanksgiving using this pie plate and they both cooked very well.
