5 Stars for Functionality
I am giving it 5 stars because I only needed a durable and accurate measuring spoon set. However I have provided a picture to show that they are not all the same height like the images had shown and the color grain on each one is a bit different. One of mine came with a stain on it. However the etches on the wood are deep enough that they will not fade away even if discolored or stained. For my purposes this is usable and functional but if looks or uniformity matter than you might not like this set. I am happy with it overall.

Novelty measuring spoons that are not easy to wash
I mostly use a scale for weighing ingredients, but in cases of small quantities, I go through a lot of measuring spoons. These were really nice looking, stainless steel, and not too expensive. I didnât pay attention to the washing instructions before ordering. After receiving, I saw they required hand washing. I already have to hand wash too many things, and measuring spoons are not going in that pile, especially when theyâre usually pretty cheap. I went ahead and washed the set in the silverware tray in the bottom of the dishwasher. When they came out, some of the measurements were barely readable now. So the stainless steel is fine, so far, but the measurements are very shallow grooves in the wooden handles. This is frustrating. Iâll have to use my super sticky labels on my label maker and put the measurements on them so I can put these through the dishwasher. Iâm sure the wooden handles will eventually dry out, but I refuse to hand wash measuring spoons. If you want these just for display, great. Otherwise, Iâd pick something that will hold up better.

Questionable material
This set is made of wood and metal that is an upgrade to standard plastic sets, and even the plain stainless type. The material looks nice too, it has the vintage look with wood and gold combination that is very classy looking.The only reason I’m giving it a 4 -star instead of 5 is the description says “food-grade stainless” in one sentence, but then says “copper cups” in the next. For those of us who are very particular about avoiding PTFE, PFOA and other toxins frequently used in cooking utensil, this conflicting description is kind of a red flag, as I hope the gold color is not some type of chemical coloring to make stainless look like copper.

I love these measuring spoons. They’re very pretty and functional at the same time. I love the length of the handles. They’re easy to use and hold, but not too long that I can’t fit them in containers as well.
