I dont remember if I got this on the NY Times Best Wisk of 2024? But I think it was NYT. They were right. Cost the same as others but its just well made. Great value. This particular one is small though so if you are doing large batches I would go up a size. I just had to have the red.

I just got my new 8″ whisk and I’ve already tried it out on some pudding. I absolutely love it! It’s perfect. The round textured handle is easy for me to hold as I have arthritis in my hands and it’s well made. Also I prefer metal whisks over silicone as they hold their shape better and do a better job of beating/whisking.

Whisk snapped right off the handle at the base after 5 months of ownership and barely any use. I was whisking a roux – which isn’t even very thick – when it happened. It looks like there is a solid core in the silicon handle that attaches to the whisk head, and it clearly lacks the necessary strength.Based on the comments, this seems to be happening to others – would be hard for me to recommend this whisk until the design issue is fixed.

Broken handle after 3 months
Bought in January. Used about 10-15 times. Was making pancakes and the handle broke right off. Totally useless now. I wish I read more reviews before purchasing. I love the GIR Spatulas and have several.
