Exactly what I wanted
I got this one and the other size, and they’re both exactly what I wanted in a whisk. The handle has a good weight to it without it being tiring over long whisking times, and it fills the hand so your muscles aren’t cramping up from trying to keep hold of something the size of a pencil while exerting force on heavier frostings.The holes are well sealed, so no water gets in the handle, and it does just fine in the top rack of the dishwasher.I’ve put the wires through some real work, and it’s taken everything I’ve thrown at it like a champ without bending or giving way.The only thing I wish was different is that I wish there was a hole in the handle for hanging it up. But I understand that there’s probably not a lot of people who prefer to hang their whisks, so I can’t fault it for that.

I never thought I would be so happy about a whisk… but this thing is great. Mixes cake batter easily, so I don’t need to use my electric hand mixer or stand mixer. Rinses clean quickly. Handle is study and allows for a good grip. Again… you think you don’t need a good whisk? This whisk will change your mind 🙂

Saw this recommended on Milk Street so had to try it. I really like how well it mixes. I used it today to whisk 6 eggs and it did well with less effort and time than my other whisks. But it’s very heavy. I got tired quickly and my hand kind of hurt a little. I have larger hands and the thick handle felt good in them but was weighty. It does look nice in my kitchen. Seems much more durable than other whisks.
