Clean and simple design and good quality!
I got two sets of these for my wedding 7 years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond. As our family is growing and we have more dinner party with friends I needed more sets. I couldn’t find them at Bed Bath and Beyond anymore but really glad I found them here. They were exactly the same as the ones I had! It has a clean and simple design and the quality is pretty good. They do scratch up a bit through out the years but I think it’s normal. It would be really nice if they remain smooth and shinny like when they first came out of the box. =)

I have had this set of flatware since March 2013 (about 9 months), and I can barley tell they have been used and we use these everyday. They are sturdy and sleek. They are a nice heavy set. I am very happy that I decided to purchase them, as I was very nervous about ordering them without being able to see and feel them.

Great, affordable flatware!
I recently replaced all my flatware with this Ginko Varberg set. I’m thrilled with the weight, size, and feel when dining. I used to find that my previous flatware had an odd shape and dimension which made using the larger tablespoon and fork feel like I was eating with a garden trowel. The Ginko Varberg is sized very well and I have no problem using the tablespoon with cereal and so forth. The style is simple and sleek so this is an every day set that can also be used with fine china for special occasions.The only bummer with this set (this is the reason it didn’t get 5 stars) is that on some of the pieces, it’s stamped “CHINA” on the back. I don’t think very many people would notice this, but seeing it’s stamped on some of the flatware and not all makes me think Ginko Varbery could have omitted the stamp altogether.

Update: This item is advertised as the âSmooth Varbergâ Item # B0006BD2IK, but it arrives with a pounded finish as shown. I wanted to re-order the smooth finish again, but after 2 tries, it arrived with the Lafayette series covered with the Varberg sticker . So itâs useless and doesnât match. I have to send back because of this error or deception. |||Great flatware. Well balanced in the hand, perfect tines on the forks for picking up food, dinner knives have ideal serration and cuts veggies and protein without needing a steak knife, but does butter well too. Looks and feels elegant enough for a nice party.

Amazing cutlery for the price
I was a bit skeptical to purchase this set because of the many mixed reviews. I went with the majority who gave this 5 stars and purchased it. When it arrived I was amazed at the beautiful nicely weighted cutlery I received. It looks expensive, even my mom thought I spent a fortune on this set and when I showed her the price, she bought her own. This is a definite must have for persons who are on a budget.

Great silverware!
Wanted everyday silverware that would be sturdy and nice to look at. Read all the reviews. When one said he could scoop icecream without them bending….I was sold. He was right! Utensils are a little longer than any others I have had. Am really liking that. Quite heavy. May buy again for wedding gift. Have washed in dishwasher many times with absolutely no problems.
