I bought these because I didn’t have a lot of storage space for a traditional set after moving. I also like things within easy reach when I’m in the kitchen. I’ve enjoyed having these, but I would caution others to not put them in the dishwasher and definitely do not soak them. I recommend hand washing them and drying them in the storage rack provided. They will last longer that way. I noticed in the other reviews similar problems to what I experienced after heavy use, and I think these tips will help. I just bought a second set to replace the ones I bought 4 years ago.

Nice set and holder
I only had a short while but they are much more durable than i expected and larger too. I got these for my elderly father for more easy access ( sever arthritis-RA) and larger grip than normal utensils but not a build up type. He likes them and the holder.Also my 4.5 year old daughter absolutely Loves them for the colors. I would buy again.

Unfortunately, these are not worth the money. After 2 months, the chrome finish had begun to tarnish, and a couple of the forks had cracks appearing in the handles. The other day, one knife just snapped in two. They are poorly made, despite the attractive appearance.
