I needed a new set of dishes. And in this choice of selections this is the one for me. The whole set is square and the colors are taupe with black. Very beautiful. A neutral shade that is perfect for every kitchen.

Ages well
I was having a large dinner party and did not want to serve on mixed-matched plates. I purchased three of these. That was three years ago. The plates and bowls look just as good today as they did when they arrived. We use them daily at home and got rid of the old stuff. The coffee cups live at the office and are used by everyone. I would buy this again if I needed to, but at this rate, the set will likely outlive me.

Heavy but lovely!
The color is not bright at all. Was expecting a richer or brighter color but I liked them so much I decided to keep them. I have black wheatstraw dishes lighter for the kids and the two sets look really nice together. Mugs are a god size, not big, and stack nice in the cupboard. Like the black in the mugs so years later tea or coffee stains are not visible. I might have passed on the color in a store for something brighter but like the set very much.

Really nice dishes. Unfortunately, roughly three days after purchasing the set I already shattered a plate. I was heartbroken. It was completely my fault though, and has no bearing on the quality of the wares. Might buy a second backup set to account for my goofy ass dropping things. Wish you could buy individual pieces haha.

Mon set de vaisselles étaient en piteux états. Lorsque j’ai vu se set de vaisselles, je n’ai pas résisté une minute, car c’était exactement la couleur et la forme que je recherchais. En plus d’être super beau, il a l’air très résistant, va au lave-vaisselle et au micro-onde, qu’est-ce qu’on peut demander de mieux. Un gros merci encore une fois Amazon et tout votre équipe!
