Beautiful replacement microwave.
The microwave is great. It functions perfectly and was located under the cabinet where the old one was. While the product is very good, the shipper (FedEx) was a problem. I had to contact them daily to see where it was. After six days past the promised date, it arrived.

So this is one of the last appliances to change to stainless in our kitchen. This thing looks amazing and matches everything else that is stainless. It’s a very quiet microwave and is super powerful. Heats up everything great. Built very solid, fit into our over the range cabinets perfectly. I would highly suggest this purchase because it was a great value for the money.

I had a 28-year-old GE microwave that finally died. I wanted a new one that was very similar to the old one. I found it on Amazon and ordered it on a Thursday evening. The promised delivery date was the following Wednesday, but it arrived on Saturday morning. The installation was fairly easy, and it fit perfectly over my range. I just hope that it lasts 28 years, like the old one.

Already own two older models in the same GE family (JVM3160EF1ES) that we really enjoyed and worked excellently well.This model was purchased as a replacement through Amazon and after installation notice a traumatic decline in build qualityThe preheat settings do not display on screen programming they are designed for? (Ie, pasta, plate, etc) Like previous models did. Also misses any sort of sticker that would show what pre-programmed items like previous modelsDoor is flimsyHeat from under the counter light causes microwave, underside and interior to get unusually warm.Do not recommend this model

Perfect fit and running like a charm
I waited a couple of months before reviewing to make sure I had sufficiently used it. It is working like a charm. It replaced an older GE unit that lasted over 20 years.Delivery was excellent. It came as it did from the factory in a very well packed box with lots of cushioning. I did not feel comfortable installing it, but I’m sure if you were handy with the tools you could easily do it. A Friend cam over and installed it in about 30 minutes.
