I was a bit skeptical about this hand blender becsuse of the cheap price. but I went ahead and purchased it, and I am not sorry I did. It has an extremely powerful motor on regular mode; turbo mode makes it easier to blend “rougher” or “heavier” foods that might be more difficult to blend normally. I also love the fact that it has detachable components that make it easier to clean. They also allow more functionality and ease of use for a wider variety of foods and processes. Slim-lined and easy to counter store or keep components in a drawer. Highly recommend.

Bought as a gift
I purchased this as a gift so I haven’t used it. My niece said she loves it. She was having to make two separate dishes for every meal that contained tomatoes because her son wouldn’t eat anything that he saw tomatoes in. She said with this blender, she blends the tomatoes and he can’t see them so she doesn’t have to cook double at every meal. She loves it.I will probably buy one for myself.

Makes your job a breeze!
This arrived just in time to do my Thanksgiving holiday cooking. I immediately used it to chop my cranberry salad, and with a pulse or two had finely chopped up an entire bag of cranberries. It also handled chopping celery and nuts with a breeze.**IS IT CORDLESS??I tried and tried to remove the power cord, but I am thinking this particular unit is not meant to be cordless. I was afraid to damage it to try further, so that could be a big issue. However, it worked fine plugged in. It’s just not as convenient. I had to remove a star because of this.It arrives packaged in a box similar to what you would see in a big box store, has an operation and care booklet (with recipes) and a two year warranty. According to the booklet, the cord can be removed, but I had no success with it. I’m pretty sure this is attached.The unit itself weights about two pounds, and is attractive and powerful. It has speed adjustment at the top, plus the turbo button.The immersion blade tool is sturdy, and all of the attachments easily snap into place.The attachments themselves are ok, I am a bit disappointed in the quality of the whisk. It is very flimsy. The other attachments like the beaters are lightweight, but the dough hooks are substantial. The hard clear plastic storage container, and on the chopper itself, is questionable, probably not the best quality to last a lifetime, but I had no problems.They easily washed and rinsed well. I did not use the dishwasher, as I had no need.I have a large food chopper, and sometimes it’s more than I need for quick jobs. Plus being able to blend soups and sauces in their pan is a benefit of owning a tool such as this.It arrived in just a couple of days, and aside from the cord issue, I like it.

Really nice, BUT
The cup was shattered in pieces. Since the whole thing is packaged very well, it had to have been broken before it was put in the box. Since I would have given that bit away anyway, I didn’t ask for a replacement. Just think there’s a problem with quality control when a broken piece can be packed into the box like that.Aside from that, I bought this to replace an older, less powerful immersion blender that gave out after four years of fairly constant use. Went with more power in the hopes that this one will last a bit longer. It certainly does its job faster! Love the blender, and the food processor is a nice size and works really, really well. Gave away the mixer, whisk and bread hook parts (I have better on hand), so can’t comment on those except they look pretty flimsy. Can’t imagine making bread dough or mixing anything that’s thick with those… but I haven’t even tried, so who knows?Would recommend but… eh. Not sure about the packaging issue. Be forewarned.
