The straws are the size they say they are, they’re dish washer safe, and my detergent didn’t leave a residue on it, so they don’t impart any flavor onto your drink. If you need an alternative to plastic straws these are great

I was looking for any non-plastic straw to replace the one that came with my new Hydro Flask flex straw top. This matched perfectly at 8mm OD and 8.5â long! It works great and tastes way better than the plastic straw!

mom uses them to drink hot coffee (she can’t pick up the cup). Thought they might get hot in use but they don’t. We were using plastic and they got soft and didn’t last long and were hard to clean. She’s only used them for a few days but so far AWESOME.

I was wanting to switch my plastic straws from my reduce tumblers to a metal or glass straw – as to limit my ingestion of microplastics. These fit perfectly! The only thing I wish is that they were as wide as my other straws, but they work just as good! 10/10 (:
