Have been using these filters since buying the refrigerator, have had no problems. I was gone for work, and my wife called a local dealer, and he came and put in a new filter, but it was a generic filter. My wife asked it it was as good as a Frigadaire model, and the repair person, said he thought they were and they are much cheaper to buy. He said you are buying the name not the filter…..
