Great For Camping
These are super fun for camping. Theyâre very sturdy and fun to get creative with. The learning curve is pretty intense and we had some burned things but eventually figured a few things out. There are lots of recipes online for everything from grilled cheese to puff pastry with pie filling. Definitely not for the kiddos to take out or take the food out of because it does get crazy hot but fun for them to make their creations and enjoy it after baking!

They are a pretty good size but I wish they were just a little bigger and a little deeper. The metal shell is sturdy. The length of the rods need to be about 6 inches longer and are easy to bend by accident. The handles should be made of a light colored wood not black plastic. Hard to see the handles. The handles had holes in the bottom of the handle which I had to tape to keep the dirt out. Otherwise they worked very well and cooked evenly. Make sure you spray them before you put them away for the following year so they don’t rust. They are good but not as good as the old ones were.

I needed some more pie irons and ordered these. They are holding up nicely – especially after I had one I purchased from Cabela’s that cracked and broke! These have a nice long handle so you can keep your fingers from getting too hot.
