Great for making masala chai
I have other Farberware pots without spouts and strainers. This pot is great for making multiple servings of masala chai. Spouts and two lid strainer sizes (smaller size works for chai) enable less mess in pouring chai into cups after cooking. The pot is tall enough that over-boiling requires significant inattention. FYI this pot does not have the rolled upper edge present on other Farberware pots without spouts.

Great saucepan
This saucepan is affordable and has held up incredibly well. I’ve owned it for 2 years and it still functions well. It’s great being able to whip up a cheese sauce and then throw it in the dishwasher. 3qt is a pretty good size to make cheese sauce or couscous for a family of 3.

Absolutely love it!
Ya know, when a person starts getting excited over a COOKING POT, , , , then you know mid life has fully set in hahahaha! But hey! This thing is great! My husband makes a LOT of pasta based meals, and its so nice not having to wash out a pot and a big strainer, saving a large area of room both under the cabinet and not having a big strainer drying in the dish drainer rack. Maybe not IDEAL for small macaroni noodles but does the job just takes a bit more shaking and tilting. Everything else is 100% great!

old style is good
My favorite thing is: the name, the quality, the strainer on either side of the lid and The Lid…I am disgusted with the glass lids that get all crappy under the rim of glass and you can not clean them…threw mine all out. This product has always made a quality product and I have had in the past…I will always have these Ps and Ps

LOVE IT!
This pot is so nice I’m really happy with how quickly it heats, how easy it is to pour the water out on the sides, and how great it looks on the stove. It’s a good buy…

Just got this today. On a positive note: The dimensions of this are awesome. Not uselessly small or cumbersomely large. You want to cook up some pasta for you and your kid, it’s just the right size and since it is tall, it doesn’t have a foot print that uses up space in a cupboard or sink. It comes with a strainer built in, a small orifice, but I have yet to test it. The thing I don’t like about this and makes me consider sending it back, is the vertical walls are really thin. They rolled the top edges to give it some structural strength but I don’t think it’s enough to save it from dents via aggressive daily use. I still don’t know if I’m sending it back because it’s such a keeper in all other respects.

I liked that this pan is sturdy. I love that I can strain directly from it, and that there are 2 different sized holes in each side of the lid, to allow for straining larger and smaller items. If I had to name a negative, it would be that I feel that the handle is awkward to use. I have medium sized hands and find that the slender, angular feel of the handle isn’t as ergonomic as it could be. Something that fits the palm in a better way is needed. JMHO

I wanted this pot for warming milk. The pot arrived with around four little dings in the sides and after one use spots appeared in the bottom which are permanent. I don’t understand why because I was only heating milk on medium low. Very disappointed! If it wasn’t for that the pot would be awesome as it does pour the liquid out very nicely.

The straining lid is great – just need to remember that it doesn’t lock so need to hold it. Pot is excellent

Absolutely love this pot. We have been using it to boil water for babies bottles for 6 months now and still looks brand new. High quality thick bottom and love the pouring spout for pouring water into bottles. No more spills here 🙂
