My parents had the same plastic cutting boards for 40 years that were durable, came clean in the dishwasher, were thick enough to be a real slab and were reliable. I was on the hunt for the same, and I found these to be the closest. They arent as thick as my parents, but they do not get destroyed with much chopping, and they come out spotless in the dishwasher with no stains or marks. I am impressed.

Size is good but they are very thin, maybe i missed that measurement somewhere but they are so thin they seem flimsy but I have used them and they work fine. Just seem like they won’t last

I like that these are light weight and thin compared to a lot of other cutting boards. I have a number of boards so the fact that these are thin makes for easier storage. I got these to replace the same boards that I’ve had for years but finally needed replacing.

These needed to be twice as thick to cut items on across sink tops
They were OK if you used them on the countertop, but not so much when you cut with them around the sink. They broke. The ones I had before were twice as thick and did not crack when used over the sink.

These cutting boards are very thin it is true, but they are stiff and not flimsy. They are not what you might use for heavy duty chopping, but I frequently have some light cutting prep to do for a meal or maybe even cheeses where I want something light and quick, that handles easy. That is what I got these for. I have larger wooden boards for extensive chopping and the such. These fit the quick light weight duties that I needed them for.
