Affordable option to replace plastic cutting boards
Nice set of bamboo boards. Holds up well to daily use and has been through the dishwasher several times with no warping/cracking. Wood boards get expensive so this is a good option for replacing plastic cutting boards affordably.
UPDATE (6 months)
The large board, which we only ever handwashed, warped and cracked after a few months. The medium and small boards go through the dishwasher regularly, and are still going strong!

Really does the job!
Great cutting boards, light weight making them easy to store on their sides in my cabinet. The largest size works perfectly, giving me enough space to chop what ever I need to. I find that although they are inexpensive they are working well so far. I make sure to wash them right away, especially if I’ve cut something that leaves color on the board. I dry them too before putting them away. I have also rubbed the large one with a very light coating of olive oil after giving it a good wash, just once so far after a couple of months of using it often. I’m very happy with these non plastic but thin boards and recommend them.

Awesome for the price, but not the most durable
These last about as long as cheap plastic cutting boards do, meaning 6 months to a year or two depending on how often you use them and whether you put them in the dishwasher or not. I dishwasher them, which means after about 6 months of heavy use and frequent washing they are starting to split at the seams. But that is to be expected, and at this price point they can be easily replaced which is more sanitary anyway. Great replacement for plastic.

Sturdy cutting boards for their thickness.
Nice set of boards. Lightweight and easy to move around the kitchen while still stable enough to carry the weight of whatever youâre chopping. The bamboo also seems relatively durable and hasnât shown much wear even after a few monthâs worth of usage.

These are nice, I like the look of them and they serve the purpose well, being a good replacement for plastic ones. I thought lacking a handle hole would improve durability, and still think it does, somewhat. Unfortunately the middle-sized one split 60/40 after twice in the dishwasher. The resulting 2 “lean profile” boards were not really useful anymore. BTW I’ve thrown out 4 or 5 bamboo boards after they split this way, going forward I will regard every bamboo board as “hand wash only”, or simply limited use and disposable.

Disintegrated in Under 90 Days-No Customer Support
The largest cutting board in the set came apart in under 90 days, with light use. I emailed customer support twice asking for a refund or replacement, but received no acknowledgment or response after over a week had passed. Farberware lists a customer service email address, but it seems no one is reading customer messages or, if they are, messages are being ignored. Obviously, this does not involve a lot of money, but the absence of any response from Farberware’s support department is frustrating and motivated me to write this review. Farberware used to be a trademark associated with quality kitchen products and I have satisfactorily owned and used many of them in the past. This set of small cutting boards was quite inexpensive and perhaps Farberware feels it can’t afford customer support for it. In my opinion, if they can’t or won’t support a product, they shouldn’t sell it because they are losing customer goodwill.
