Honestly, I didn’t want to ruin my LeCreuset baking bread and decided to buy this less expensive pan for my artisan bread baking. This dutch oven is wonderful and the perfect size for my bread. I am not sure why I have been spending so much $$ on LeCreuset when this has been available. I use it for more than bread baking! It retains the heat and is beautiful on my kitchen counter.
