Stylish and Functional
This microwave is as beautiful as it is functional! The aesthetic design blends seamlessly into my kitchen, giving it a sleek and modern look. The minimalist buttons and soft curves make it stand out from traditional bulky microwaves.Itâs not just about looks, thoughâthe performance is fantastic! It heats evenly, is super easy to use, and the pre-set functions are a lifesaver. I also love the compact size, which fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space. If youâre looking for a microwave that combines style and efficiency, this one is a total game-changer. Highly recommend for anyone who values both form and function!

Works, is cute and fits on my tiny counter
I love the look and size. It’s not as powerful as larger microwaves I have owned so it can take longer to cook or heat things. I expected that though with the smaller size, so it’s not an issue.

Love itâs cheery white retro look.
After our more expensive Breville died after only 3 1/2 years of careful use, I opted for something with a brighter look and smaller footprint. I sized down from 900 watts (.9 cu ft) to 700 watts (.7 cu ft) with this Emerson Retro white model. So far we love it. Some reviewers complain that they canât figure out how to use the dial for exact minutes and seconds, instead of the Pre-Set function. Press Power, adjust power down by pressing that button or leave on 100%. Dial in your time and press start. So easy. I prefer dials and handles on microwaves and the chrome buttons are elevated, not a fingerprint- inviting touchpad. I like the reminder beeps if you forget you have something in the microwave, as I sometimes do when reheating coffee or tea. I appreciate the gentle nagging! The door latch is a little tight but we find that with gentle opening and closing, itâs working more smoothly after a couple of days. We needed minor time adjustments for morning oatmeal and fruit but itâs just a small learning curve. We felt that our larger, âdark and broodingâ former microwaves were overkill in size and this perky smaller retro is a visual upper. So many reviews start with âI love itâs Lookâ and I agree. If it lasts as long as our Breville, at 1/3 the price, Iâll be happy. I remembered the Emerson Brand from an Emerson A.M./F.M. Clock Radio my parents bought me to take to college, over 50 years ago. Now Iâm âdatingâ myself. (Donât care.) âºï¸

Low wattage, Pitiful functionality
Only 1000 watt when in “grill” mode. Closer to 700 or 800. Unevenly heats up leftovers, random cold spots. Controls aren’t just non-intuitive — they’re practically nonsense. No way to set a timer. You get 30 seconds from every single push of the button. If you want 5 minutes worth of cooking, you have to push the button 10 times, AND the countdown begins with the first touch. The instructions don’t explain the controls satisfactorily at all. What’s that dial good for? Don’t ask me. Did I mention it began to rattle when cooking after about 2 weeks. The top of the machine is not flat, so don’t expect to be able to store things on top very well. Things that used to take 1.5 minutes to heat up, now takes 3. I hate everything about it…but I’ll keep it until it completely dies on me…which should be any day now according to some of these reviews. I can’t understand so my positive reviews. I don’t think I have any unreasonable expectations for a microwave. This doesn’t even come close.

We will keep it.
The microwave has a handle and a dial, but the dial is not for setting the cook time. I want a microwave that you can move the dial to a certain number and it will cook for that time. With this microwave you have to press a button for 30 second intervals. The intervals start as soon as you press the button. For example., I push the button once and it starts cooking at 30 seconds. I push it again at it moves to 59 seconds, because it starts counting down from the last press. I can never set it to 2 minutes exactly because it starts counting down with the first press. This can be confusing. I can get 1 minute and 57 seconds. We like it. It makes the food hot. I

Perfect for a Small Kitchen
The light blue color goes great in my kitchen. It gives it just a little bit of color. The microwave is small and compact and fits perfectly on a tiny countertop. It was a great purchase for me.

Odd timer
We bought it for its size to fit our shelf, and a good price. Most food packages now specify times for a 1100W oven and this is 700W which is fine and what we’re used to, but the controls on this one do not consistently allow for the time equivalencies needed. Wish it had a numpad to key in exact times, rather than twisting a dial that did not always offer incremental times. Also awkward if you want to cook at 50% power. The inside is smaller than our previous microwave, too, so it won’t take anything larger than a standard dinner plate. I would not buy again.
