Straightforward Little Coffee Maker for 4-5 “Cups”–Update**
If you use a mug (not a cup) for coffee, the 5-cup mark for water on the pot delivers about 3 mugs, perfect for me. I used the same bottled water I’ve used with other coffee and tea makers, and the same brand of ground coffee, so the improved taste is due to the difference in coffee maker, not ingredients.The coffee doesn’t start to drip into the pot until after a couple of minutes, so it is actually brewing–adding the HOT water to the coffee, not letting it start to drip into the pot the minute you turn it on. I esp like the way there is NO DRIPPING down onto the heating element when you take the pot out to pour either. (For some reason, even a few drips of coffee on a hot base plate just never seem to wipe completely off, and that builds up as it bakes in with repeated use). After it’s brewed, the pot of coffee stayed hot over the couple of hours I used it, but didn’t overheat into a witches’ brew of concentrated liquid.The reusable basket washes easily, so no need to buy paper filters. Use the same amount of coffee and water you normally do, according to how strong you like it.**UPDATE. I decided to try using a paper coffee filter outside of the basket, since the ground coffee I was using still left a small amount of residue on the bottom of the coffee cup, especially with the last of the pot. This worked perfectly, and any residue left in the pot went into the paper filter. There was absolutely none at the bottom the cup.This is a very good basic coffee maker at a reasonable price. I like it. (If anything changes over time, as always, I’ll update this review.)

Works well, but not large enough for two full mugs
Do I drink too much coffee? This coffee maker forced me to examine myself. My previous coffee maker (which broke down) could fill two 16 ounce coffee mugs easily. I thought this was a similar coffee maker in size; the first filled mug was great, perfect. This coffee maker is not super fast, it slowly adds hot water to the grounds over time so it will steep longer. I enjoyed it and was happy.But the second cup, no. It filled to just barely past the halfway point. What the *#@#! This spoiled the entire rest of my day.So I thought about this in brooding self-examination, and came to the conclusion that, no, I am not a coffee addict, nor is there anything wrong with this coffee maker or its size.It’s aliens. Plasmoids have shrunk my machine during shipping (which is why it took so long to be delivered) to mess with my mind. Well it didn’t work! I have now devoted my entire life to exposing their nefarious scheme!

Je l’ai branché sur une prise intelligente avec Alexa et une fois qu’elle a fait son café, la prise intelligente est programmée pour arrêter au bout de 30 minutes. C’est une façon économique de faire du café pas de perte jusqu’à ce qu’il faut. Oui je la recommande pour une personne ou deux.

It did not disappoint! It’s a small but solid coffee maker. the carafe fits snuggly and the pause to pour works well – no drippy mess. It comes with a reusable basket which is great because it’s much smaller than the standard filters. It keeps the coffee really hot for 2 hours. 5 cups is exactly enough for 2 14 oz mugs, Highly recommend.
