One of the reviews I read mentioned that it was difficult to put the kettle on it’s base – that has not been not my experience. This kettle works exactly as other similar ones, you just set it over the base and it goes right on easily and with zero problems.One thing that is not too important (for me at least) but FYI – it is not an infinite selection of temperatures. The rotating dial might lead you to think this… The options are (in F°): 104°, 113°, 122°, 131°, 140°, 149°, 158°, 167°, 176°, 185°, 194°, 203°, 212° (using the dial) or 195°, 200°, and 205° using the preset temp button.In practice, here is how I use it: Press power on and the set temperature is always at the default 212°. Press the preset button and then turn the knob to select between 195°, 200°, or 205°. After you have selected one of these three preset temperatures, that is the default preset the next time and every time thereafter that you push this button unless you change it. So, after you have picked your preset temperature, you can just hit power on, hit preset once, then power again to start the kettle and away you go.Cool having the base show both the current temp and the set temp displayed at the same time so you can see status at a glance. This has been an absolute life saver for us. When making tea, ramen, or anything else we need boiling water for, this makes it so much easier. I’ve used it many times and well worth the money spent. Its easy to use a bottled water and plug it in. Only tales a few minutes to get it going and it shuts itself off once it’s made it’s boiling point. It needs to be on a flat steady surface or it will fall. I think a fun part for us is seeing the light come on when it’s boiling. Makes it look so cool and so pretty. It does a great job working.

Hot hot hot – convenient – larger then expected
This Electric Tea Kettle works well. The water was perfectly hot for tea and hot chocolate and I didnât even have to leave my bedroom, very convenient. Cord length could be longer, and the initial lead up to boiling the water is louder than anticipated. The boiling process does get quieter and quieter until the kettle turns itself off when it reaches the boiling point. Blue light when boiling makes the kettle look sleek. Durable glass, has cup measurements on front. Kettle can swivel 360 on its base. The base is not a hot plate to keep the water warm. The water seemed to stay quite hot though in the kettle for about hour, then was just slightly warm about 2 hours after boiling. Push button open top. I opened the top and steamed my face with a towel over my head and that worked amazing too!

Best Black Friday deal yet. I love the glass kettle and how fast it boils water. The blue lights are way cool and I love the auto shut off feature. The water still remains hot for a while, but sometimes I get distracted by a call or someone stopping by and I don’t have to worry about it boiling dry.
