When Boiling Milk….
To prevent burning or scorching of the bottom of the kettle when boiling milk:I heat milk by pouring it into a 330ml aluminum energy drink can– think: tall Red Bull container– and place the whole can inside the products reservoir for heating.I simply drain the energy drink, refill the can with milk through the pop-top, fill the kettle with about a quarter inch of water (just enough to cover the sensor on the bottom) and place the complete can inside the product….. and heat as usual.The screw-down lid will NOT close over the kettle and the can will stick about a quarter inch over the top of the kettles rim… but that’s ok.. works with no problem.

Cup wouldnât hold water inside
Just opened to try it for the first time. Water from the bottom of this cup covered the whole table. Would be happy to return, but itâs too late. Very disappointed, wouldnât recommend it.

I have seen some reviews that have complained about leakage from the bottom of the unit, faulty displays, poor performance and complete non function after about 1 month. My (120 volt) unit has had none of those issues so far, and works as advertised, taking between 5-10 minutes to heat water to about 77 degrees celsius (about 170 degrees farenheit) . All I can say at this point is this is a good solution for situations where finding a cup of hot water for a cup of tea, or instant coffee, is difficult.

Purchased for our holiday which dates hotel had no kettle. Works really well and boils very quickly. Only holds enough water for one hot drink so have to boiled twice if you have a partner. Worth the money
