I ordered the MeeLeya Electric Gooseneck Kettle to replace my well-worn conventional electric kettle that finally stopped working. I’ve started making pour over coffee in addition to lots of tea, so I wanted a gooseneck type to control the pour. The sharp look and the many features of this kettle won me over.The kettle is simple to operate. It allows you to set the temperature from 140°F to 212°F in 5° increments with the + and – buttons. The large readout flashes between the actual and desired temperature of the water. It takes 2 minutes to boil 2 cups of water. The kettle beeps when the water is ready.I like the built-in safety features of the kettle. It has an automatic shut-off, a keep warm function that turns off after 30 minutes, and a side outlet to divert steam away from the handle.I’m pleased with the MeeLeya Gooseneck Kettle. It works well for both my coffee and tea, and it looks great on the counter. It seems to be well made and reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fast working, well-designed electric kettle.

Sleek little kettle with great temperature controls
As far as electric kettles go, this one is very aesthetically pleasing with its matte black exterior and faux-wooden trim. The build is solid, and the power cord is long enough to reach most outlets. I use this for yerba mate, so I wish the kettle were better insulated for heat retention, but I usually have to reheat it only one or two times. It pours very smoothly and precisely.The heating pad has minute temperature controls, allowing you to set the temperature in 5-degree increments from 140F up. I absolutely love that it tells you the current temperature of the water while it’s heatingâthat way, if you need it cooler than its lowest temperature, you can just pull it off early.The only downside (I’d knock off only half a star if possible) is that there do not appear to be volume controls. It beeps when you turn it on, when it begins heating, when it’s reached the set temperature, and when you turn it off. I use the kettle in an office setting, so I would love to either deactivate the sounds or just turn them down. Right now, it sounds like a microwave.To be fair to the product, if I were to only use this at home, I’d give it 5 stars! I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for an electric gooseneck kettle.

Nice little teapot!
Got this to make it easier to make my teas. Amazing how much simpler this is than heating a kettle on the stove or putting a mug in the microwave! The pot itself is greatâitâs stainless steel and has an excellent spout that pours at just the right rate for filling a mug. The heating element is in the pot itself, not the base, and with 1200 watts of power, it heats water very fastâlike a couple of minutes and you’re ready to pour!The tech it has is also very good. You simply turn it on (requires a long press for safety) and it remembers the last temperature you set it to each time. You can easily adjust it with the touch buttons as well. Check your tea or coffee for the recommended temperatureâespecially with tea, itâs best not to exceed that for the best benefits and flavor.The display shows both the temperature of your water as it heats, as well as the set temperature. It heats continuously until it approaches the set temp, then cycles on and off to get it right there. Thereâs a loud but not overbearing beep to let you know itâs ready, and you can tap the âkeep warmâ button to maintain the set temperature for 30 minutes.This is a great fit for me, and I would recommend it if you need a nice electric tea pot/kettle.
