That kettle replaced 1.8 liter âboil onlyâ large and ugly kettle. To make a cup of tea or coffee were always boiling way more quantity of water and then allowing it to cool down over time, such a waste of energy and time it took to boil some water. Imagine boiling a gallon of water everyday only to make 3 cups of tea! Criminal waste.This kettle like the previous AIHEAL kettle has max capacity of 800 ml. We boil 1/2 kettle worth of water for a large mug of tea. Less water boils quickly. Likes:Elegant design. Matching copper detail on the handle and the turn knob. Ergonomic handle. Base has good weight and stay put. Good build quality. Easy to adjust temp. Heats up quick. Hold function works as advertised.Somewhere in the middles:Despite great build quality, the temp knob on my unit rattles quite a bit and spins almost freely if I turn it at the right angle, making it harder sometimes to nail down the temp you want to set.Dislikes:Though it’s included in the promotional materials and advertised to have, this kettle doesn’t have temp preset functionality. I don’t care for it but it’s definitely misleading. Because of this, I will knock down 1 star.Still very recommended.

Got a great deal on this kettle. I was concerned it would not be subpar quality. I was wrong. Build quality is very nice. Base is sturdy and all buttons work and all seems to be built well. Temp control works great, kettle is solid, looks good, and pours nicely. Heats up quickly and holds temp if you select that function. Absolutely would recommend this kettle.

Does Exactly What it Should
This has upped my coffee making game paired with a scale and incredible grinder (Baratza Encore ESP). It maintains temperature for two hours, can be silenced so no beeping, quickly heats water up to temp and is very easy to adjust temp setting with dial. Easy to turn off as well, don’t have to press button for long. The gooseneck gives a lot of control for pour overs. 10/10

Terrible Kettle. “Hold Temperature” Function Fails Fast
I have been using this kettle for pourovers on a near daily basis for 3 to 4 months now. The kettle was great initially but the hold temperature function will fail on you. A few other reviewers have also seemed to run into this issue.Temperatures reading has become inaccurate and I’m unreliable. Temperature displayed jumps all over the place. It constantly boils to 100C regardless of what temperature you set, and the temperature reading fluctuates wildly, triggering the boiling process again. It will often read 84C, 80C, even as low as 74C after boiling. It will read one temperature in the hold mode, and then a completely different reading after changing modes. Keep warm? More like keep boiling.If you value consistent and reliable temperature modes, this kettle is a big gamble. If I could go back in time, I would stick with Timemore or Fellow. This might be the worst kettle I have ever purchased to fail so quickly.
