Beautifully crafted bread pan

Makes a nice loaf of bread
This oval Dutch oven makes a nice loaf of bread. I like that the handles are displaced so that you can either grab the lid or grab the entire Dutch oven with the lid when it is hot. Just what I needed.

Great Size for Bread Loaves
I find this 2 1/2 qt bread dutch oven the right size for smaller loaves of breads. The unbaked bread from a banneton slips into the silicone liner and its tabs makes it easy to place into the hot dutch oven. The staggered handle placement makes them easy to grab with oven mits. My bread retained it’s shape and did rise high while baking with a nice crust.

I already have a ditch oven for bread baking which is from a name brand. In order to put two loaves in the oven we needed a rectangular version and found this one. I like that it has an option with a liner because many cast iron versions do not. I do not have to do anything special compared to the brand version and lift the lid after the same time. The one thing that is hard to achieve with a cast iron kitchenware is a light weight. It is very heavy and needs to be part of your decision making process. Would buy it again still.

Came quickly and is SO CUTE!! But don’t let the smallness fool you – this little dutch oven is the perfect size for those smaller 7″ loaves of sourdough breads. And the off-set handles are a bonus for when you have those awkward oven mitts on as well and you have to remove the lid for the last part of browning your loaf. As well – that silicone liner!!!! OMG super nice!! Just fits in like a glove – Now I am hoping to get another for when I do multiple smaller oblong loaves Highly recommend this little gem âº
