I have been searching for a nice set of drinking glasses and have spent a considerable amount of time researching Whisky Decanters and glasses (mainly what looked cool) and I kept coming back to this set, so I broke down and purchased it.I’ll have to say I am really impressed with everything in this entire set.The box the glasses come in is beautiful and perfect for gifting.One of my biggest concerns was with this being a glass set that they could get damaged in transit from the shipping depot to my house, however when opening the box the foam packaging inside was so secure and form fitting I almost couldn’t get my glasses out. By no means am I saying is an issue. I’d much rather be safe than sorry.The glasses themselves while they look fragile, actually have some surprising heft to them. I didn’t know how I’d like the 45 degree angle the glasses sit but after a few uses I’ve gotten accustomed to it and actually quite like it a lot. The white dragon logo looks very cool on the glasses.They even included something I didn’t think about, a small glass funnel to pour your beverage of choice into the decanter.Stand seems ok. Nothing standing out as amazing or anything just ok.The only real negatives I can think of would be the following, and before you go on to read them I do emphasize these are very minor.1. The aforementioned funnel seems very fragile. The sturdiness found in the rest of the glassware does not apply to this. Wash and handle with extreme care2. The Dragon logo would look so sweet on the Decanter but instead it is just blank, with the logo only on the glasses. Seems to be a missed opportunity to me but I could be in the minority on that one.3. The stand has holes cut into the wood with a sponge like substance in those holes to have some padding for the glasses to rest on. I would make the next batch just a hair bigger so the glasses could sit on them normally or be flipped upside down so the rim of the glasses would fit perfectly on the foam.In summary this is a great set with staggering amounts of positives and very minor negatives, that is, in my opinion, very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a nice set of drinkware or a center piece to your serving collection this set will certainly fit the bill.

Beautiful glass set, bad base.
I first saw this set a month ago, as a special on Amazon. I slept on it and they sold out. It came back, I added the set to my cart, it sold out again. It came back again, I purchased it on back order. That’s how much I really wanted this item. I received my Dragon glassware decanter on March 3,. I got home and immediately began unpacking it from the box. I took the base stand first, one support poles to hold the decanter was totally broken off, you could tell it had been previously broken, and an attempt to glue it back didn’t work, even the paint was chipped around the area. In addition, two of the other support pole were very loose. I’ve decided to keep it and repair it myself. The glass set itself is beautiful. I’ve received obviously returned goods from Amazon before, they should really check the item before sending them out to another customer.

THIS SET IS SO NICE, VERY ELEGANT, AND CLASSY! I ORDERED 3 SETS . 1 FOR EACH OF MY SONS AND THEY LOVE THEM! AND OF COURSE I ORDERED ME A SET!

The stand is very obviously poorly made. there are heaps of superglue blobs near the stands and one of my stands was still woobly.I read heaps of reviews from people with the same issue – very disappointing.
