Whether using them to make cookie or cake batters, hold chopped vegetables for soups, or use as a colourful salad bowl, they work well, have a smooth surface which is easy to scrap down with a spatula, keeps pastry a bit colder if you rest both in the fridge at the same time, and itâs just bright and cheerful to look at. They have a decent weight to them (but not too heavy) which hold up easily to a hand-mixer. And clean up is easy as food seems to scrub off the surface without a fight. I wish they had lids, but they do fit standard size plastic wrap. Well worth the investment.
