Great Chopping Board & multi-tasker
If you are in need of a cutting board I highly recommend this one. It has some really useful features. The stainless steel side has grooves to collect the juices from any meat you lay on it to thaw. Both sides are very easy to clean.Iâve had wood cutting boards in the past but I always worry about how sanitary they are. Today I made pork chops and stuffing for dinner. I needed to chip a cup of diced onion and a cup of celery. This board is the perfect size for most of my chopping needs. I rarely ever need anything larger and it!s more manageable when it comes time to clean it.The materials itâs made out of are very durable. If you decide to thaw meat on the stainless steel side there are rickets for the juices that run off to collect. The wheat straw side has a place where you can grate garlic or ginger. Probably more but that is about all I eould use it for. No need to get a garlic press or grater out if you are already chopping other stuff. Iâm all for less dishes to be washedIt gets even better because if youâre chopping and you find your knife is still up near the top of the cutting board is a little groove that has a built-in knife sharpener. I tried it out and it actually works pretty well. I recently bought a knife sharpener, and unfortunately, it did not work very well, so I was really pleased to find that this one was able to sharpen my knife to my satisfaction. No one wants to have to chop up, produce with a dill knife.All in all, I feel really good about using this cutting board. Between its durable food, safe material and the fact that itâs dual sided. Yeah, each side is ideal for different things and the fact that I can use it as a grater and a knife sharpener as well is more than I wouldâve ever thought to want from a cutting board so Iâm very pleased with this. This cutting board is a happy medium size, not overly large and yet big enough to handle most cutting jobs. Which makes it easy to carry and wash in the sink.The star of the show, by today’s knowledge, is a safe product to use. Wheat straw side is the side I use 99% of the time. I rarely have raw meat or meat to cut. But the safety of S.S. and no cross contamination is huge. I will make burger patties and I no longer have to soapy clean the counter. I can carry this board to the sink. I feel I would wash it thoroughly, but if I do not, there’s not the risk of cross contamination. The stainless feels like it would wash off better than other materials. And I also feel my counter is cleaner, using this for making patties.The outer rim has raised silicone corners which hold the board in place really well while you’re cutting. I didn’t use the knife sharpening feature. The handle is nice to carrying or hanging the board.It didn’t stain yet, from cutting veggies that have stained my other plastic boards. And the stains make me feel that it’s not completely clean. There will be cut marks, as with any cutting board. I don’t know that I’ll ever use the garlic grinder on the board. I don’t know, but feel like that smell wouldn’t wash off?I’m very pleased and will also like another one that’s larger. A board like this for big cutting jobs (turkey and melons). I want my family to use these. I just feel better knowing they’re safer to use. It comes in a box, so they would be great for host gifts.

I wasnât sure what to expect with a titanium cutting board, but I have to say, Iâm impressed! The double-sided design is really well thought outâI used the wheat-colored side to grate garlic and ginger, then chopped up some veggies for a stir-fry. When it was time to prep raw chicken, I just flipped it over to the stainless steel side, and I loved knowing there wouldnât be any cross-contamination.The textured surface is a nice touch too. It helps keep food from sliding around, and it doesnât seem to scratch easily. All my cutting boards are wooden. When I need to cut raw meat for recipes, I donât like to use the wooden boards. I got the board so I could use the metal side for this purpose. It is easy to clean and works like a charm.
