Sturdy
I was afraid this would be flimsy, but it’s very sturdy. I don’t have a dish washer, so I need a solid one to hold a lot of heavy pots and pans. This is perfect, since you can adjust the size. It’s the third one I’ve purchased and this one is a keeper. I highly recommend this one.

had to modify it for it to work
if your kitchen sink isn’t flushed smooth with your counter & you’re not up to adding a platform to the bottom, don’t buy this dish rack. my kitchen sink has a lip over the counter so the drain canal can’t slope downward to drain the water. but, even on a flushed area, I noticed that the canal wouldn’t point down all the way unless I lifted the whole try up. so even without the lip its best to elevate it anyway to make sure as much water drains as possible… which means that they design the trays legs tallerthere’s another flaw; the utensil tray’s drain doesn’t reach far enough to drain into the main tray. I also tried modifying this but any modification to the little drain slit blocked the pull out rack from pulling out. so I ended up just buying a fast-drying matt to put at the bottomoverall, its design is pretty faulty. it does provide a lot of space but its drainage system is weak. I didn’t mind modifying it since I like other parts about it, but I didn’t want to have to buy something extra for the utensil tray spills, and doing all that work isn’t for everyone nor should they have to

Large Black Metal Dishrack
I love the look of this dish rack! It has a very modern feel to it. It’s made completely out of metal and has a hard plastic angled base that contains a drain with an adjustable direction channel and plug. It also comes with a utensil (silverware) attachment that is completely removeable. The dish rack has a secondary rack recessed below the main rack, which, when extend, nearly doubles its size (footprint). This dish rack is also easily assembled. The only drawback I found is this: should you leave the silverware holder in place on the main rack then you will not be able to extend the recessed (secondary) rack while it is in place. The silverware tray must first be removed before the secondary rack can be extended, then the silverware tray can be replaced. Definitely worth the money.

I don’t care how lame it makes me, I love this thing! It is already partially assembled in the box, so set-up is super easy. The retractable shelf adds a lot of area to put in dishes and I can fit a decent-sized load onto this thing! The draining tray is also very neat and useful. I definitely recommend this if you hand wash frequently.
