Impressive
This is a review of the Sakugi Dish Drying Rack. It is made from very sturdy stainless steel. It took about 20 minutes to put it together. Very easy. Make sure youâre matching the correct part to the picture on the instructions because there are slight differences between parts that are easy to miss.I have now been using this rack for a little over a week. When I first got it, I was concerned that water would drip down behind the sink controls. That proved to be not a problem. Everything drips directly into the sink. That impressed me.You can make it different widths, so make sure to check the dimensions to see if it will fit your sink, but it seems like it will fit all sinks. There are two baskets. One has 9 slots for letting dishes dry. The other basket does not, and I use it for mugs, shot glasses, Tupperware, anything really. There is also a utensil container attached to the second basket, and that also drips directly over the sink. I am one person. I usually cook for one or two, and this rack holds all our dishes, utensils, and the pots. I was concerned it would not be sturdy enough for my big, heavy pans, but that turned out to not be the case. It holds the weight no problem. There are also two containers below that. One is perfect to keep my dishwashing soap, handsoap, and scrubbers in.The other container is a metal basket on the lower right for large knives (ie chefs knives). It will not hold dinner knives. It would need to have a cross bar near the top to work for regular knives. So the dinner knives have to go into the utensil basket to dry. I also use it for my straw cleaner. One thing that needs to be changed are the hooks. They will not hold the handle of a coffee mug. They are too small. I use one to hang my bottle brush from and use another to hang my sink rags. There is a side slot that will hold a cutting board and/or a pot cover. This is useful, as I always use cutting boards.I donât think the hooks and the chefs knife holder is enough of an issue to take off stars. I give this rack 5 stars.
Golfii and Chris –
The ultimate kitchen savior that moonlights as a stylish over-the-sink trapeze artist!
This sleek, black stainless steel wonder is the Hercules of dish racks. It can handle a mountain of dishes, utensils, and cookware without breaking a sweatâor wobbling. Seriously, this rack is so sturdy, it probably moonlights as a bodybuilder.Assembly is a breeze. In just 10-20 minutes, with instructions clearer than my morning coffee, even the most DIY-challenged can have this beauty ready to go. Itâs practically an ego boost in box form. However, itâs not all sunshine and rainbows. The utensil holder, made of plastic, has a mind of its own and likes to take unexpected dives. Balance it just right, or youâll find your forks and spoons performing synchronized free falls into the sink. And while itâs spacious, a bit more room for bowls and plates would be the cherry on top.Overall, this dish drying rack is a kitchen game-changer. It’s strong, stylish, and makes dishwashing almost fun. Almost. Just keep an eye on that utensil holder â it has dreams of being a gymnast.
