Good Quality
Happy with this mat. Needed a white one and they were hard to find. We are using it underneath two coffee makers. We move the coffee makers to the counter to make the coffee so itâs only used to protect the furniture.

Description Not Accurate
I didnât bother returning item but it was smaller than described, disappointing. Product works as described.

It’s a welcome addition, just wish it was a little bigger.
All in all this is a great mat and I’m happy i got it. It does several things and does them quite well.First, it sits on the counter and has a really good grip so it stays put. It’s thin enough to not be obtrusive at all but thick enough to absorb a lot of water at times. The absorbency is pretty much exactly what you want but the reason I like this so much is that it doesn’t come at the expense of being easy to clean. The other one I had would easily stain and took forever to dry. This is subtle, if water drips on it or spills on it, it just kind of absorbs and disappears generally before you know it. And if/when needed you can just pull the whole thing up, run it under the sink and soap it up and just sit it back on the counter to dry.My only issue with it is the size. It’s a little small in terms of surface area and when I’m settings things to dry on it, it’s just a few inches short of being perfect. I’m probably going to buy another one though b/c otherwise I really love it.

Perfect for protecting our butcher block countertops from water damage!
I put this mat next to our kitchen sink, not to hold dishes while they dry, but to help with all the water splashing, drips, pools, that happens every time someone reaches for the hand soap, dish soap or scrubber with wet hands. We put everything in a holder with a tray for catching the water but it wasn’t enough and the counter was starting to look pretty bad from all the watery soap spots and stains that had accumulated since the last time we sanded them down. Using this mat to protect the counters has worked tremendously well, and it covers up the stains until we can get around to sanding them again. 😉 It soaks up a lot of water, and so far (maybe because it’s black) it doesn’t have any spots or stains. It looks great! It’s a super simple and convenient solution to our countertop problem that I wish I’d thought of much sooner.

Not my favorite
I didn’t like the feel of it. Seems to much like a giant mouse pad and doesn’t vibe with my cozy kitchen. It’s functional, I’m just not a fan of the material.

Finally a smaller mat
This is the 3rd May of this type I have tried. I have a super large thick gray one (the papa bear mat), a pretty brown patterned one (that is smaller than the papa bear mat but just as thick), and this thinner and smaller baby bear mat. They all have different uses. The huge thick mat is a bit too large for my kitchen or for my dadâs small kitchen. The mama bear size is perfect for my kitchen needs. Luckily this one is great for dadâs small kitchen. I donât have to have the espresso machine half on and half off this may. This mat fits nicely in front of the espresso maker. Itâs absorbent but I donât use it for dishes. The occasional drop of water hits it and is absorbed fairly quickly but not as quickly as the other two mats. I use it mostly for tapping my portafilter to even out the coffee. It dulls the sound and impact a bit, but to that end, I would really prefer papa or mama bear thickness. This one is white and fresh looking though and I can instantly see coffee ground remnants on it which is a plus. Itâs a good mat.
