Broke in microwave
My initial thought was these are thin and cheap but still cute so I decided to keep them since they said microwave and dishwasher safe.But the first time I microwaved food on one plate, the plate broke after 40 seconds.

** UPDATE: Coming back to add a star. After a few washings, the scratchy texture on the bottom of the pieces completely went away. These seem sturdy, simple, and just a good bargain for all the pieces you get **I very much wanted to like this set. All the pieces are nice but not too heavy weight, the design is simple and lovely, and the white looks very crisp. The set is full of only the pieces I find the most useful (large plates, small plates and perfect sized smaller bowls. No random small mugs or oversized pasta bowls that no one really ever uses). However, the one thing that I find troubling about this set that and am having a difficult time getting over is that the undersides are unglazed unlike the tops which are nice and glossy. I don’t mind this in the lightest from a looks perspective, but every time I scrape the bottoms with my fingers or against anything else, it gives the unnerving feeling of fingernails on a chalkboard (for anyone who remembers what that’s like). While this is a lovely set for a reasonable price (at least at the time of my order), unfortunately, this chalkboard feeling is a bit of a deal breaker for me. I’ll have to see if this wears away over time with more lots of washings but if it does not, these will not remain long in this household.

Beautiful Dinner Set
The product itself for sure is lighter than the stoneware. It says it’s lead free. I recieved the item in excellent and perfect condition. It is packed and boxed very well. I am happy with this purchased.

Not fine China
I got this set because at the last minute I was hosting a sit down dinner for 18 people and i only have enough dishes for 12. These are okay in a pinch ⦠the weird thing is they are smooth like porcelain on the tops but textured on the underside. Canât compare them to my Bernaudaud Limoges but they plated the food up well.

Nicer than expected
These dishes are lovely, functional, and do not take up a lot of space vs ceramic type plates. The dessert plates are perfect sized for just a snack or simple sandwich, and so lightweight – literally everything I was hoping for. Excellent price and so far seem quite durable. Beyond pleased.
