High Quality Stainless Steel, Very Sharp, Works Well
Well made, comfortable grip, should last many years. The two grate sizes grate and shred well. Easier to clean and use than box type or rotary hand crank graters. Fits nicely in a flat drawer, quick to grab and use, whereas my rotary and box graters take up a lot of space and are a bit of a pain to clean. Most of the time I can just throw these in the dishwasher, if a lot of stringy fibrous stuff sticks to it, I use a small wire brush or toothbrush to clean quickly.

Nice and sturdy. Sharpest graters I’ve ever had. They come with covers, which is great for keeping your fingers safe in the drawer.Advice: leave the label on the cover. I have sticky messes where I removed them, and they were hard to get off. In hindsight, the labels are obviously designed to be left on.

Finally, a useful grater set
Had been meaning to drop by box grater for a while. It was difficult to clean and to get those last pieces that were sticking to the frame. Bought this set in the hopes of making cooking easier and it was a win! Used them both last night for dinner and a meal prep. Handle is easy to hold, “stability bar” kept it from moving as we grated. Used them for two different cheeses, got every bit off and it’s easy to clean without me grating my hand reaching into small places. Added bonus – the price was far better than local kitchen stores and it’s great quality!

Liberation from the old school, 4-sided grater
I finally decided to stop complaining about my old 4-sided grater (two sides of which I never used and which I hated to clean). Went with this two piece set which covered my two use cases. The old grater was find if you were using it on a board for pre-prep, but I also like to grate into smaller and curved dishes as well as into pans while cooking. These are perfect for all three uses.The handles are very comfortable and they are lightweight but stiff. You can easily hold in one hand and grate/zest with the other over an open pan or bowl. The silicone bumper on the end makes it easy to leverage a flat surface or edge if needed. Cleanup is a breeze and the protective covers are appreciated.I had an issue with one of pieces after about a week. I had registered with Di Oro and simply sent an email to which they promptly responded and sent a replacement. Excellent service, buy them now!

The blade angle feels wrong
I really like this brand and wanted to like this product, but the blade angle is wrong causing more resistance to grate. It’s more like diagonal shingles that cut into the product. The finished cut is more like what comes out of a pulsed food processor. Hard to control and almost macerated.You will put more pressure down on the blade which means you struggle to push through and you risk cutting yourself. I’m very comfortable with knives and sharp items, but I wouldn’t use this without a cut glove. Also if you have grabby handed small children, the covers have openings in the middle which seem to invite fingers.I like the handle and how easy it is to clean, but this made me more frustrated than excited to use.In the end I broke down and bought the Oxo version of this that you are also probably considering. The Oxo one is slightly wider on the blade but has a much larger bezel and the blade geometry is more similar to a box traditional grater that lets cheese and potatoes glide through. This also gives more of the traditional grated finished product.

I have recently purchased the fine and coarse grater set. I have only had a chance to use the fine grater so far and was easy to use and did the job well.I did have a small issue on receipt of the product, but this was quickly resolved by the sellerâs customer service department who I can only commend for their speed of response following my initial email.
