Great little kettle – compact stainless steel – nice build quality
This is a great electric kettle. It holds approximately 0.8L of water, enough for 3-4 cups of coffee/tea, a great size. I have a larger kettle and usually only fill half way most of the time so this is perfect. It’s a matte white finish on the outside with a full 304 Stainless Steel interior and lid (no BPA concerns). Lid opens wide for ease of cleaning and wiping down the inside. Build quality is very good. My larger kettle is a Dezin as well and it’s working great after 3 years so I expect similar durability and performance.Needed something smaller for counter/cabinet storage, and a faster boil and this kettle does the job great. Thnx!

Hot water is essential to me and I like to start my day with a hot cup of water. I bought this to take with me on vacation. I would be staying in hotels but hot water to drink can be hard to come by. I needed a water kettle that is a smaller, portable size. This worked great during my travels. After I heated up water, I poured it into a thermos so I can drink hot water throughout the day. It has all the great features of a normal size electric kettle, only smaller and more portable. It heats up fast, has a pour spout, has an automatic shut off feature, and a flip open top with the push of a button. I also choose this model because it has a stainless steel inner container. The outside stays cool to the touch.After my vacation, I continued to use this kettle almost daily at work. It works great. After I am done boiling water and empty the hot water in my cup or thermos, I leave the lid open so the kettle can dry. I’ve had no issue with cleaning. I am very satisfied with this product.

I fell in love with electric kettles when I went to the UK. I vowed to get one once I got home. Once home I got back to using the microwave to heat the water for my tea. I went back to the UK and once again found the electric kettle to be time saver. I wanted a small kettle for my counter and this one is perfect. It heats up fast and has an automatic shut off. It pours easily. I have had no problems with this kettle. I would buy it again.

Small, inexpensive, low power, a few quirks…
I downsized into an apartment last Fall and the kitchen is tiny – every inch of counter space counts. For years I’ve used the OXO glass kettle, which I love. but it’s big and also 1500 watts. The Dezin kettle is small and only uses 800 watts. I’ve been using this kettle daily for the past 3 months. Easy to use, boils water fast. It’s got some quirks and is not as well made as the expensive ones,, but I do think it’s a good value for the money. It’s working out great for my needs. I also like that it’s light and easy to pack when traveling. I would definitely use it in an RV, cabin or trailer.Some reviews have mentioned spillage and burn risk from steam or spills. Here’s how I avoid that risk.1. Do not fill past the MAX line, which is about the 3/4 full mark. If you overfill, it will boil over and make a mess. You can go a little over the line but not a lot.2. Pour carefully. Do not pour too fast or at too aggressive an angle. If you do, it may spill over the top and make a mess.3. Be mindful of steam coming out the top. The lid is not airtight. If you pour too fast or aggressive, steam will come out of the top near the top of the handle very quickly, or possibly all at once, and may scald your hand. The lid hinge extends across the top of the handle – this is where you have to watch for steam… also the upper part of the handle if your pouring angle puts it above the back of the lid.If you need a small, lower power device, and if you can live with its quirks, it’s well worth it.

I don’t know if its a pro or con, unexpectedly, it does not automatically shut off when lifted off the base. I must learn to switch it off before placing the emptied kettle back on the base.It works well, looks nice and cleans up easily. Allowing the lid to open for unimpeded access is very welcome. It is a good size and capacity for small kitchens. I recommend it.

Excellent pot
I used this on my 12 week road trip tenting in national forests with no electric hook ups. Had a solar/12 volt powered Jackery battery pack with the ability to just plug in the pot. I frequently made stops to brew coffee or tea along the road; just pull over, add water and it was heated in a minute or two. Especially useful or in the middle of nowhere when I was frequently. Definitely worth the money! I used vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
