I’ve used this product since day one with the new coffee maker I ordered and so far, it has not failed to work as it is supposed to.I like that it is relatively easy to use and as long as you follow the instructions, there is no after taste or bitterness in your coffee. There is enough product per bottle to do two cleanings but I mainly use it in my single serving side so I can actually get 4 cleanings from one bottle. I use this product about once every couple of months, as I only brew one cup a day in my coffeemaker, and this keeps things working well and clean.I highly recommend this to keep that coffeemaker working in tip-top condition!

So far so good I only used it once but I did do two bottles because of my machine was way way overdue. It does have a terrific cleaning power as far as getting all the gunk out it’s effectiveness is unparalleled and the size is terrific for the money. There’s a lot of durability that comes with this liquid as far as getting through to all the intricate parts of your machine and there’s no smell like you would get if you used vinegar so I am extremely pleased with this purchase I will be subscribing!

Couldn’t tell if it did anything
I followed the instructions on the bottle and ran it thru the brewer as instructed but couldn’t see anything come out in the glass i used to catch the stuff in. I guess the brewer didn’t really need descaling even though it said it did. I do like that you only need to use half a bottle at a time. The brewer works fine after using the descaler so I guess it doesn’t hurt to try it when the brewer says to.

Upscale Descaler!
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt I must this time. My Keenstar 4 cup 3.5 bar espresso maker began to slow down: instead of a burst of steam for making my coffee in seconds, the machine became no faster than a peculator, with coffee dribbling into the carafe. At first I thought that the machine, which was only five months old, had simply quit working. But, here in Fort Worth we have very hard water (140 per whatever), which can create scale. So, I bought this product.I filed the carafe with half of the product (half the bottle), and then half water, poured it into the espresso maker, let it sit for a few minutes, then fired it up. When the light (indicating heating) had gone off (indicating ready to make coffee) I turned the dial, and a beautiful burst of steam came out, as it should. The water that poured into the carafe was very dirty with scale. I ran the machine a few more times with fresh water, until it was clear. The machine again works perfectly.I was dumbfounded that this product worked so well, and makes me rue past coffee machines that I disposed of, thinking they had simply quit working. If your espresso machine has slowed down, I highly recommend using this descaler.
