First, the negatives. There is only 1 and that is when these are frozen, they can be a little brittle. I have broken 2 of them when trying to remove food from them in a frozen state. I overhauled how I prepare and eat food and completely changed my diet and I found ziplock bags and tupperware just weren’t cutting it. I have been using these for almost a year now and I can’t imagine my kitchen without them. I will cut up an onion, and keep the diced onion in a 16oz container ready to go and use it on sandwiches, eggs, or anything. I can prep fresh food at the start of the week all at once, and store them in these containers and they stay fresh for weeks.I used to love TV dinners for the convenience but they were killing my health. My solution is to cook food in bulk, portion it out, and freeze or refrigerate them. So I will cook up a double batch of Lentil Dal Makhani, portion it out in these containers, freeze half of it, and fridge the rest. The same with rice, diced cooked chicken thighs, rinsed taco meat, etc, and as I make meals I just grab what i need from each container and throw it in the microwave.They look disposable but I assure you they are not. I have ran them through my dishwasher dozens of times in the last year and while things like taco meat and turmeric have slightly discolored some of them, they still work like new and washing them is not a problem at all. Every time I do a load in the dishwasher, the top rack will have at least a half dozen of these in it. I just stack them back up when they are dry and they are good to go again.I also use them to store dry ingredients like sugar, rice, pancake mix, etc because they seal so well and they stack wonderfully.If you put liquid in these and put a lid on, you can juggle them, and not a drop will be spilled. They are absolutely water tight.I can’t say enough good things about deli containers. I prep my food ahead of time, it saves me from wasting food, it lets me keep fresh, healthy food ready to go or stored in the freezer, and these are CHEAP. I love them.

I bought these unsure of whether they would live up to their claims as dishwasher safe and leak proof, but after 3 months I’m throwing away all my old tupperware cause these things are so much better than I had hoped. Not only do they take up less storage space than my old tupperware, but the one-size fits all lid is a game changer; I am never wasting time trying to find the right size lid. I haven’t thrown out a single one so far as they seem to hold up well getting used daily. One minor drawback is that while they do tend to be ok in the microwave, extended time (like more than a 3-4 minutes) can warp the lids. For the most part they seem to pop back eventually but I can see that they may not hold up well to extremely hot dishwashers or cook surfaces. Even so, they are so much cheaper to replace than any tupperware.

As a former deli worker Iâve been in love with deli containers. This product is thicker and more opaque than what Iâm used to and Iâm not mad about it. I use these containers in my home to manage my snacking tendencies by portioning out what I need. I use the medium sized containers for my rice. Pro tip: let rice come down to room temp before your portion it. The container you cooked it in has basically been sterilized during cooking but bacteria can grow on the container from the air if you go straight from the pot to the container. Think of it this way: if you place rice in it hot youâre giving the product the opportunity to grow bacteria from the 100 degree range (a hot day in humanity) down to the 50 degreee range (sweater weather in humanity). Compare that to the 80 degrees down to fridge temp. Anyway, I got distracted. These are perfect for more dry products from a reusability perspective but clean up like a treat! The lids are the same size no matter what which is why I will always recommend these for purchase!

I use these for food storage, but you can easily use them to store medicines, small things like screws or nails or pins, etc. I have used them in the microwave, refrigerator and freezer, and so far theyâve held up well. I like the 3 different sizes. I use the medium size the most. Itâs perfect to store leftovers, meal prep ingredients, or bring lunch to work. I clean them by putting in some dish soap and warm water, putting the lid on, and shaking it. I havenât tried these in the dishwasher yet.The only downside is that the lids can be a little hard to open sometimes, you just have to have patience. But the fact the lids are so well fitting also means that they stay on, and the food wonât spill. I really like the fact that all the lids are the same size and will fit any of the containersâ no more trying to find the lid that matches the container! It makes it so much easier.Iâm glad I bought this set. When they wear out, I will buy some more, but hopefully they will last a while.
