    Huge handle
For a paring knife, this has a huge handle. Absolutely sharp enough, but I don’t think it is very egonimic, especially in smaller hands.

Nice pairing knife for everyday tasks.
Excellent pairing knife. Super sharp and easy to cut meats, fruits and vegetables. Nice weight and ergonomic for easy handling. Only downside is the wooden handle, I would not put it in the dishwasher

Not quite sure she likes it.
She had a Wüsthof and it got losted. A replacement would cost $95.00! The original was half that price. This one is a top of the line Japanese knife. It’s heavier and has a bigger handle. So far, she’s using it and using it. So we shall see. Wish me luck, because we all know that it’s “all about me ” 🎶. To the tune of “It’s all about you ” it’s came quite sharp but it’s stainless and it’s hard to put an edge on it. But holds an edge longerer.

    Preposterously sharp knife.
A paring knife is something I use quite a bit in my kitchen. This one comes in a nice box and has a high-quality feel to it. The blade is so ridiculously sharp I almost could not believe it. I have a number of high end German knives and none of them have arrived as sharp as this one. It could take the whiskers off an adolescent gnat if needed. The damascus steel blade and wood handle look nice and both are well finished. The handle is somewhat bulky for my liking, and that’s the reason for deducting a star. This is a personal preference and unrelated to the quality of the knife, but to me a paring knife should be handy enough to grip with just 2 or 3 of your little fingers. That leaves your index finger and thumb available to help control the item you’re cutting. This handle is a bit too large for me to hold as such, and I have relatively large hands. For use as a prep knife or for dicing small items it works fantastic. I use my paring knives both for peeling and prep, so this knife will be used primarily for the prep. It cleans up easily too. Overall a great quality knife that is unbelievably sharp.

One of my favorite knives now
Love this knife! I like the look of it, the weight is good, the length is perfect for every day use on just about everything. I wash by hand but it’s easy clean up. Nice case for storing. Holds sharpness well. If taken care of, should last a very long time!
