A knife experience like no other
I am so glad I purchased this set. These are by far the best knives I have ever owned, Starting off with they are real damascus, not laser etched. There is real weight in them and you know they are quality once you pick them up. The edges are very sharp!!! Be careful. These are a must have in your kitchen. I had no idea good knives made such a difference.

Very sharp!
Liked: packaging, appearance, sharpness.Did not like, absence of blade guards,Big knives too heavy for average woman but bought for a man so not a deal breaker,If not for the $40 discount coupon, I may have picked something else. All in all a good buy. The true test will be 6 months from now.

Great Quality
I got these for my ex-husband for Christmas, as heâs been wanting knives like these for quite some time. (I live far away, so itâs perfectly safe gifting my ex some sharp objects.) He absolutely loves them, he tried them out immediately and was able to cut everything beautifully without effort. And theyâre really beautiful looking too!

Good but not the best
I wonât lie I wasnât sure what to expect as far as quality because I am just now getting into more higher end knives as a result of myself getting much more active in the kitchen and grilling.I spend probably 4-6 hours a day on Amazon, I am very diligent with my research and reading reviews, and on more expensive items I definitely take the time to read all the 1 star reviews to see what consistencies there are. With that being said I had high hopes for this set, and here is my honest initial review. (I will try to update this in a few weeks or months to include how these knives hold up over time)Immediately upon opening them they look very clean, they feel very nice in the hand and have a good weight to them. They are also very very sharp, I think the mid sized one has definitely been my favorite and seems sharper than the other 2, though the others are still VERY sharp too. For the price these knives are a pretty good bang for your buck. Honestly these are a good set for someone like me whoâs just getting into higher end kitchen knives but doesnât want to spend hundreds on nice knives with little to no knowledge of high carbon Damascus steel knives. I recently bought another Damascus knife from a company called Excaliblades, that one is definitely better but thatâs to be expected when the single knife was 80$..With all of this in mind, I stick with my statement that theyâre a good value for their price. Also on the topic of high carbon steel, itâs very important to properly care for them, always be sure to hand wash them immediately after use with non aggressive soap. Then dry immediately and apply a light coat of oil afterwards to prevent rusting.Overall Iâve only had these knives less than a week, but I give 4 stars for now. I will try to update this review after some time has passed to see how theyâve held up.

Holds an Edge.
Digital print pattern aside, this is a VG-10 clad blade with a quality build. I worked as a professional cook in a past life (don’t use this in a restaurant ; it’s too nice). It has a nice feel and holds a deadly edge. Touch up after each use with a medium diamond stick and please never put any knife you care about in a dishwasher. Carefully wash it off and put is back in a block. Nicest chef knife I’ve ever used.

Sharp
Light weight and sharp. This is a nice set of cutting knives.

Beyond razor sharp!
Easily the sharpest (and prettiest) knives I have…ridiculously sharp! They pass the paper cutting test with flying colors! Clean, thin, straight strips.I’ll give an update on how well they hold the edge when I’ve used them a lot more.

Iâm very pleased with this knife. The blade is extremely sharp and is the best chefâs knife I have ever owned, especially for the price. The balance, feel and fine chopping ability with this knife is excellent as well.
