Great Racks
I did not find these flimsy at all. In fact, they are very well made and solid stainless steel. Use these for roasting and for cooling baked goods. This product is a wise choice as we make tons of homemade goodies and breads in winter.

These cooling racks work really well. They are sturdy, made well and easy to clean. They have worked great as a cooling rack and a drying rack for oil fried things.

Solid for the price
I like these CURTA cooling racks, they serve their intended purpose and are true to the 1/4 sheet pan size. The only complaint I have is they came kind of warped when they were new, they did not sit flat on the ground or in a pan. I was able to bend them a little bit to get them back to flat. No big deal. They work great for letting steak dry age for a day or so in the fridge, as well as serve as a quality cooling rack for cookies and bread. The surface is sticky for bread and I would not recommend baking on them – we tried to make some English muffins on them and they stuck quite badly, so we will just stick to using them as a cooling rack. I am satisfied with these.

My last cooling rack from a restaurant supply store was on its last leg and my order of this 2 pack ca.e just in time! I have used my new cooling racks every day since receiving them and I love them. They’re sturdy but not super heavy (medium weight). They clean easily. My favorite thing is that they are wider than all the other cooling racks I’ve ever owned. This assures me that a tray of cookies ior other baked items aren’t falling over the sides and breaking. I don’t use mine in the oven but the included detachable ” handle” is very convenient if I do. There are no sharp edges like I’ve had on most of cooling racks. I’m very happy with my order!

I use cooling racks for many things. These are durable, & fit in a quarter sheet size baking pan.
I pan or deep fry shrimp, onion rings, fried marinated tofu, French fried potatoes, bacon, chicken strips, and various types of veggies including carrots, daikon radish, and home fries. Whether from the deep fryer, or a pan, or a Wok, these are great for both cooling and resting. For a good seared panfryed steak you want to cook from room temperature after a good sear, then let it rest five full minutes to redistribute the juices.I use a quarter sheet that I can bake on as well, but normally put it on the table and put down some paper towels. Then I put in the cooling racks and put the foot to cool. I used a similar rack recently when I cooked six veggie and tiger shrimp kabobs on a grill pan then transferred them to the cooling rack before plating. My favorite application for onion rings, fries, or chicken strips. This allows them to cool fast and the breading doesn’t come off like when I put them on a paper towel alone. I’ve not baked a lot of cookies, scones or biscuits lately but it would work good for those too. Recommended.
