Itâs Still Top of the Line
I purchased a second Cuisinart to accommodate the larger batches of dog food I prepare. Once one learns the ease of use, food preparation is so quick and easy. The weight of the base is manageable but substantial. The containers in which food goes is easy to maneuver and wash. It fits in the top part of a dishwasher. It looks and feels like a quality piece of kitchen equipment. The performance is excellent. Noise is controlled by a button which allows the user to pulse the processor thereby giving the user noise control. Performance is consistently predictable. BTW I believe this was a refurbished product. Thanks Amazon for the savings.

This food processor has plenty of power and features. I bought this when our old, 40 year old processor died. It has a moderate size footprint that does not take up much space on the counter.

Cannot get most additional parts for it unlike all the other Cuisinart Food Processors
The food processor does work well. I bought it specifically for the size as I wanted a bit bigger than 6-cup in order to do food preservation for one person. However, for some reason none of the additional nice to have components offered by Cuisinart for the 9-cup processor. I specifically wanted the flat cover and there is not one available for the 9-cup. You have to notice if the bowl uses 3 or 4 locking parts.In addition, additional blades are not available unless you go to EBay – which does have some nice sets of 7-9 blades listed for a 7-cup which also fit the 9-cup.

Love this. I bought for the shredding option mainly. Makes shredding vegetables a breeze. Seems to be a very strong motor. Base is heavy, wonât shift while working with it. All plastic containers/parts feel strong and durable. Easy to clean and store. I shopped around quite a bit before choosing Cuisinart. Very happy with this food processor.
