Big and great
I love my new cuisinart food processor. Not sure why anyone would give it less than 5 stars. Safety features are great, size is more than one could ask for when using in home. Things seem a bit tighter to put together but thatâs because it is brand new. Just seems more efficient than my older, heavier Cuisinart processor. I have chopped meat, made pie dough and spiralized vegetables and have only had it for a week. Easy to clean plus itâs great looking if you choose to leave it on display on your kitchen counter. Itâs quick and precise for whatever you are trying to accomplish. Love the âpulseâ button to finish up the last little bit of whatever it is you are using it for. Itâs a work horse to make life easier for me. Love it â¤ï¸

Great value
I was eyeing this machine for a while, and when I saw that it was available renewed, I jumped on it I prefer to lessen my carbon footprint by using preowned and it saves money! It arrived promptly with all accessories advertised. Works great out of the box. Looks absolutely new. Someone mentioned a dead motor, but they were not turning to handle properly. Itâs counter intuitive , but the handle needs to be turned towards you for the machine to work. So far so good, I chopped some carrots easily. I look forward to trying the spiral spiralizer feature.

So far, so good!
I’ve needed a good food processor for years and have been reading reviews and looking at a variety of features. This one met most of my needs and wants. So far, I’ve used the slicing, grating, mixing, and spiralizing features. I have not yet tried the small mixing bowl or the dough blade. Here’s what I’ve found so far:Pros:* I got this as a refurbished model and so the price was really good! ($98)* It’s quiet and efficient.* Handy storage container for the blades.* Super easy to clean by hand or the dishwasher.Cons:* It may be because the machine is refurbished but the buttons seem to stick. I have to push the “low” several times or it just pulses.* Again, perhaps it’s unique to mine, but the lids can take a bit of fiddling to get on.* When making guacamole, I had to add a bit more liquid than usual to get a creamy consistency.* Having two lids to keep up with is inconvenient. The spiralizer should have been designed to work with the main lid.* It would have been nice if the spiralizer attachments would fit in the main blade storage box.* I have arthritis in my hands so removing the lid can be a little challenging at times.* Perhaps I was expecting a bit too much from this little gadget, but I was hoping to use it as a mixer but it’s too powerful for that.I’ll try to come back and update the review in a couple of months, but so far, so good! 🙂

Food Processor w/ A Dead Motor
The Good News: The food processor comes with a load of accessories and are quite good quality this includes the 13-cup and the handle. They all look good. Had no problem with attaching the processing cup on to the power base. The Bad News: The power base has a dead motor … I repeat. A. Dead. Motor (See video).I did what the troubleshooter directions said, but the problem is ‘the motor’ This power base is the only one that has been left out of the refurbishing treatment.Secondly, the package was delivered with a punctured hole: A foreshadowing of what was yet to come when I opened this food processor (See photos).I must say, those folks who got this refurbished have surely missed the biggest spot that they ever left out on the drawing board.

Great.
Wife loves the food processor. It’s her favorite kitchen item for now. Next year it will be something else as always. But for today it’s food processor.

A great buy
I needed a large bowl food processor for prepping meals for my large family. This fits the bill as I can process foods in one batch. The slicing disc with adjustable thickness is a bonus and a big improvement over my previous model. It slices 4lbs of potatoes for scalloped potatoes in mere minutes. Same for 2lbs of carrots for a double batch recipe carrot cake. I could go on and on. It does take up space but no big deal .
