These knives are the best I have used. They cut through any food products with ease. They are lightweight, ergonomic, look great and are dishwasher safe. They seem sturdy so far as some of my steak knives have broken at the handle/ blade connection with dishwasher use.

Well-designed and sharp steak knife
I had to finally retire our former set of steak knifes. The handles were literally coming apart and falling off and the blades were becoming worn. I do not expect to have that issue with these Cuisinart knives. The handles are ergonomically shaped to fit one’s hand making cutting easier. The ceramic coating appears to aid in cleaning as well as cutting through meat. We tested them out last night after cooking steaks on the grill. They are sharp and cut nicely.

Good looking set, sturdy and clean easily not using a dishwasher. They cut well but it feels like more of a rough cut when slicing than I imagined. The blade doesn’t seem to glide through the cut, it feels more like it’s tearing or sawing through it…

A previous reviewer said these would not cut tomatoes. I don’t know what kind of tomatoes he has but I had no problem cutting a tomato with them. Having said that these are steak knifes and they work great for cutting steak which is what they were designed for. When company comes over I have a good set of stainless steel that I hand wash but I bought these for daily use since occasionally some one puts them in the dishwasher and other cheap steak knifes will rust. These dont seem to. Great buy.
