Very Sharp and Easy to Handle
About 10 years ago I purchased a used set of knives and block at a thrift store. Unfortunately, they the handles on the knives were wood and so was the block they went it. Over time, the wood became discolored, and since I do a lot of cooking, I wanted a new, decent set of knives. These are from Cuisinart, a company which produces quality items, and they aren’t just sharp, they are very sharp, and the look sharp. As well, all the knives are stainless steel, and are easy to work with.

I can’t say enough good things about these knives.
I recently moved into a new house and of course needed to upgrade some items. First on my list was a good knife set since I’m a avid cooker. Despite some bad reviews, I went ahead and ordered these.
First things first; they are SHARP. I can only cut with one hand and these bad boys slice through tomatoes like nobody’s business. One handed cutters dream!!
Second, they are GORGEOUS. I am beyond proud of displaying them.
Third, they have a wonderful balance to them.
They are durable, there is nothing flimsy about them!! I have had several knife sets, but these are my absolute favourite!!
Some people were complaining about them rusting, and fair, that COULD happen. But if treated right, they wont do that.
My number one rule is these do NOT go in the dishwasher. In certain circumstances, they don’t even see soap.
They are washed immediately after use, thoroughly dried, and returned to the block. Should spots appear, I use stainless steel cleaner.
They are still as beautiful as the day I took them out of the box.
They also have required no sharpening since I got them.
If stored and taken care of PROPERLY, these knives will never need replaced.
They are every bit what I had hoped for and worth every penny spent.
I highly recommend them to anyone who asks and even to those who don’t!!!
If you want knives you don’t care about or you’ll throw in the dishwasher, these are not for you.
Take care of your knives, love them, respect them, and they will deliver excellent performance time and time again.

These knives are amazing and the set has everything you need: chef knife, santoku knife, carving knife, paring knife, bread knife and more. Youâre literally only missing a Chinese chopper and a meat cleaver.
These arenât the best knives in the world, but for many users there isnât a better knife.
The first thing to note is that good knives need care. If you drop your several hundred dollar Zwillig J.A. Henckles in the sink to soak and forget them over night you may find a loose handle when you go to grab the knife. High end knives need to be cared for. These however are not expensive, and are all one piece. They hold an edge well and feel great in your hands and if one of the less serious cooks in your house leaves them soaking overnight your knives will be fine.
Honestly the best knives for 99% of people who rather not have to spend time caring for yet another kitchen item. Theyâre attractive even if they donât turn heads like my Tuo set, but also unlike my Tuo set – Iâm not constantly and nervously looking over my shoulder when anyone else tried to use them.

The main butcher’s knife did break; the tip of the butcher’s knife broke off. I contacted Cuisinart directly by phone for a warranty replacement. The CSR was very polite and informative during our conversation, but wasn’t very clear about when I would receive my replacement or if I would have to pay the five dollar replacement fee. I waited almost two weeks, and right before I was about to call back, the knife arrived in the mail. It was brand new and I was charged no fee. Cuisinart gets an A for dependability, but a C for communication. That gives them a solid B overall for handling the situation. I have had no issues since.
The knives are great and the price is right. If you’re looking for a great cutlery set and a modest price, this Cuisinart 15-Piece Stainless Steel Hollow Handle Block Set is the way to go.

Really great set of knives. Super sharp and will stay that way as long as you take care of them. I recommend buying one of those 3-stage sharpeners with the handle because like me you probably can’t be bothered to use the rod and a few slides through a sharpener is all you need to keep these slicing through tomatoes and onions like butter. The steak knives are quite nice too and even though the handles are a bit small they feel good in the hand. They are also very easy to clean since the handle and blade are all one piece. They also look quite nice on a countertop.
