simple and amazing
The Mirror finish cookware line seems to offer some nice features for home cooks looking for a durable and versatile stainless steel set. The encapsulated aluminum base is a plus, as it should provide even heat distribution and prevent hot spots while cooking. Stainless steel is always a good choice for its durability and ease of maintenance – it won’t react with foods or alter flavors. The cool grip and helper handles are convenient for safe maneuvering on the stovetop, and the tapered rim for drip-free pouring is a useful detail. Dishwasher-safe cleaning is another benefit for easy maintenance.Overall, the Mirror finish set appears well-made with some useful design features for everyday cooking. The stainless steel construction should provide good longevity. My only potential reservation would be to check reviews to ensure the aluminum base does distribute heat evenly as claimed. But for cooks wanting a classic stainless steel set, the Mirror finish seems a solid option to consider.

Very handy “go to” pan for lots of things, even boiling eggs!
It’s a very handy pan, great for melting or reducing, because the curved sides make it easy to turn ALL the contents, including light caramelizing of a batch of onions with peppers for omelettes or subs or as a garnish.I’ve done basic tasks like boiled eggs, hollandaise, other quick hot sauces in it, and the pour lip is very handy for service directly from the pan. It heats quickly, as do the contents. Melted cheese was not a problem, as the oil in the cheese goes back to the bottom over the disc to help prevent sticking/scorching.See my review for the 3qt Chef’s Pan for tips how to preseason and maintain this pan.The handle stays cool enough, though it does warm up from the heat rising up the side from the burner more than from the contents of the pan.Cleanup is a snap, and this pan I DO use soap on, since I ALSO make delicious arabic coffee (or turkish if you like) in it, and tibetan sweet cream tea (cha), and have made a couple of batches of butter tea, too… for guests. Not my personal fave.Great for a single ingredient you want isolated from the main dish in another pan, nicely made, but it is a little tipsy. The base is small, the handle is long, so pay attention to loading the pan heavy enough so it doesn’t want to tip. Empty, it can easily, so that is the only shortcoming of this pan that I’ve noted.I like it, it’s useful and generally easier to use than a 1qt saucepan for most purposes. I’m glad I got it.

Very Good Quality – at a ridiculously low price!
Normally I’d second guess a pot or pan at such a low price, but the other reviews seemed good, the spec.s looked right, so I figured try it out. It’s perfect for our needs, which is that we wanted a smaller than average sauce pan (we have the full set of Emeril’s All-Clad pots and pans) for odds and ends and occasional hot chocolate or whatever. Works and feels like advertised. Sturdy with a decent heavy bottom and all in all it’s a true bargain.Yes, it’s a bit tippy empty, but it’s almost unavoidable if you want a thick hand that won’t heat up. But even empty it will remain level as long as it’s placed well on your burner, let alone counter or hot pad where is remains completely stable. The extreme negative reviews about it being likely to tip over even with water inside seem either out of date of way overblown and we have had no problems at all.

Great pan for the price
This is my go-to pan for everything from oatmeal to making ghee.Luckily I have a lid that happens to fit.The only downside is no lid. But at this price point it’s a great product. The easy-pour rim is super for making ghee or reheating soups. No spills. No mess.

Perfect for Indian chai
Our mornings start with tea. I was looking for stainless steel non heating handle sauce pan which suits well for chai making. I tried many different brands and Iâm absolutely loving it. Easy to clean, handle wonât get heated, sits well on my gas stove top, has nice edge for no spill pour.

Works with induction! Great value for a quality product.
I hesitated to buy this because it wasn’t clear whether it could be used with induction. Then I saw many reviewers saying it didn’t. Maybe they were leaving a review for a different product. I went to the Cuisinart site and it said it was compatible with induction. Mine arrived today and I can confirm it works very well on induction. Some induction ready pans are cheaply enhanced to work with induction, so they work but don’t heat up as fast. Not the case here, this pan heats up very fast.

Useful, well worth $17
I prepare homemade meals every day and recently decided to replace my old chipping anti-stick cookware with a few good chemical-free pots made to last. In between several big purchases, this little guy caught my eye. This great little saucier is a steal at $17. As a one-quart vessel, it’s the perfect size for boiling a bit of oats for breakfast or a quick batch of instant ramen. As a saucier, it’s conveniently shaped for whipping up some sauce and pouring it over something else. This multipurpose piece easily earns its place in my concise kitchen.UPDATE: After two months of use, I’ve come to feel differently about this saucier. Despite having “sauce” in the name, anything thicker than water WILL burn where it laps against the side. Cleanup WILL be a pain in the ass. Would you pay a few cents a use to not have to scrub burnt crust off the sides of a pot every time you cook in it? Multiply that by the number of times you expect to use your small saucier for anything viscous over the course of five years and you’ve got the price you’re willing to pay for a nicer pot.

Left hand pan?
Overall, I am happy with this pan. It is a beautiful design and is a great size. I especially like the measurements noted on the inside. However, I feel like the spout is on the wrong side for me. I tend to pour while holding a pan in my left hand while I spatula (or spoon) things out with my right. The spout points straight up when I do this. A small weirdness but could be annoying.
