excellent pot
we have a full seet of Cuisinart cookware. but my wife and i are always fighting over this ONE pot. it is the perfect size. it might have the best cover i ever saw on a pot. the handle never gets hot on our commercial gas range. and the bonded bottom means even heating. So we bought another one, just like the one we already had. now no more fighting of a pot.about the only thing they could have done better, the clad bottom stops at the bottom. the sides are just single layer stainless steel. so on a gas stove, on high flame, sometimes you get some food scorching on the side walls up higher

Love these pots
Iâm a very avid home chef who launched a candy company and was needing a great variety of pots for all my creations. The two sizes I bought of these pots have been a total game changer. They heat evenly, are heavy duty, great value for the money, fabulous thick glass lid, and I adore the lip for easy pouring. I like these so much Iâm probably going to buy the other sizes and donate my old nonstick ceramic pots

A Very Handy Pot
This is a great pot for a very specific set of needs. I was looking for a pot to function as a small version of a stock pot..to contain mostly liquid for soups, to boil pasta and blanch vegetables in, and to precook beans, without having to use my huge stock pot. It serves this function perfectly. Liquids heat quickly, pour easily (as you can see it has a spout) and simmer to boil with no problem. It has good balance so lifting it to drain is no problem, and a pour area on the cover that serves the function of a built in colander to assist in draining. It is not for long cooking of thicker foods, as it is a thin pot designed for liquids, but for what it was designed for, is one of the best pots I’ve used…perfect size (I have the 3 quart), great heating and emptying properties.

Good Pan, Nice Finish, Design Could Be Better
I got this and the similar Rorence pour pot.The Cuisinart has a slightly nicer finish than the Rorence. But, the Rorence has a helper handle opposite the main handle, and it has pour spouts on BOTH sides. This means you can use it right or left handed. The Cusinart must be used holding the handle in the right hand. Not as great. Also, the Rorence holds 1/2 quart more, which is nice for noodles. I did a test, both boil 4 cups of water in exactly the same amount of time on my induction cooktop.

Good Brand, but not anymore
Always like Cuisinart. Fine pan. (previous review)(New review 2 years later) Cuisinart is a good brand until now. The rivets that hold the handle on this pan are some other kind of metal. My guess is a mixture metal or aluminum or both. It is dull, seems soft and has deep pits. I just noticed this corrosion today. The rivets did not look like this when I first purchased this pan. Obviously it has had an opportunity to be leeching into my food because I have owned this pan for over two years. So I have to wonder what kind of metal have I been feeding my family for the last two years? The description says stainless steel and that’s why I buy Cuisinart so that it does not become part of my food like aluminum most likely will especially in the soft form I am seeing used for this pan. There must have been a coating that wore off because originally the rivets looked like shinny stainless steel. I thought Cuisinart was a product I could trust. I am sadly mistaken. I will be buying a similar product in a different brand and throwing this pan out. I will have to reconsider ever making another Cuisinart purchase. Probably not, is the best conclusion I can come to considering I have been deceived and I am quite disappointed. I was not expecting corroded metal from a Cuisinart product. I have Cuisinart pans I purchased over 10 years ago that are still performing very well. Cuisinart was my preferred brand for this reason, but I will no longer be recommending Cuisinart to my family and friends.

Best pot Iâve ever owned
This is a good quality pot. It has all you need to measure what you put in it and you can pour liquid from the built in strainer.

Does what I want it to do
The product is slightly heavier than cheaper pots. The handle keeps cool when cooking. Like that the lid has a tight fit. The lid stay on when straining with the lid on. Like that handle is riveted in.I did not need the super expensive or fancy cookware but I needed something better than cheap, Cuisinart fit the bill.I can cook and save some time since this pot has a lid with a strainer on it and a pour spout, without messing up a strainer. I will be ordering the 2 quart and few other pots and pans from Cuisinart.

Arrived 90 mins before Amazon’s stated delivery time. Phenominal piece of cooking equipment. The sides are higher so cooking things like ‘candy’, which require reaching a boil stage are much easier to do. A pot holder is required for handling the glass lid handle. I wish it was a 5 qt size but this far exceeded my wishes. This is a pot you will hand down for generations! Thx you Amazon for the great price and delivery. – Greg
