Great, economical saucepan!
I have a whole set of these saucepans, and love them! I have other stainless stockpots from varying manufacturers, one is almost 20 years old and I’ve learned a few tips about keeping stainless cookware looking good:1. Don’t put it in the dishwasher. Hand washing and drying doesn’t take that long, and is so worth it.2. After drying, wipe the interior with a little oil. I use a dab of coconut oil on a paper towel, but any oil will do. This will not only shine up the interior, but will clean off any remaining residue AND over time will make the pot much easier to clean. It won’t be exactly “non-stick”, but after a few uses – wiping down with oil after each use – you’ll notice a difference.3. Use lower heat than you probably are used to. These suckers conduct heat VERY well, and it’s easy to burn things. Also, if using a gas stove and the flame is too high, it will discolor the finish on the outside of the pot. That won’t affect performance, but it won’t look so pretty.4. If food is burned on, put enough water in the pot to cover the burned on food and put it back on the stove, bring to a low boil and then let it cool. That should loosen the burned food. I let my old stockpot burn dry once, and I had to repeat this a few times, and soak it a few times with detergent, and use some stainless sink cleaner, but did eventually get it clean. Use lower heat and watch the pan!

Great saucepan for Induction Cooktop (and others!)
I recently had to replace my 45-year old professional grade Cuisinart cookware because I replaced by gas cooktop with an induction cooktop during a remodel. I knew I wanted to go with Cuisinart because my “old” pans were still in amazing shape and immediately found a new home. This 2-qt saucepan is an delightful improvement over by old one. It cooks beautifully on my new induction cooktop (Bosch). I recently “overcooked — lightly burnt” split pea soup in the pan. This would have been a nightmare in my old pan, but was a quick cleanup in the new pan. The new pan also has two new features that are great: (1) a pour lip that make pouring sauces significantly less messy and (2) a strainer that enables me to quickly parboil vegetables or cook pasta and use the pan as its own strainer. I highly recommend the pan and others in its set.

Thoughtfully designed, great quality pot for making natural concoctions
This product is thoughtfully designed! I use this product for making hair oil and purchased it because of the spout and the strainers (2 sizes) in the pot lid. The holes in the strainer are bigger and are excellent for pouring coconut oil while leaving most of the boiled aloe debris in the pot. The same applies to infused tea mixtures that have ginger and lemon. The pot is deep so you need to use both hands one to hold the lid and the other to hold the handle when pouring out the liquids at the bottom of the pot. There will be steam and you will need to use pot holder when touching the potâs lid. I love this pot because it is made of materials that are easy to sanitize and the handle is firmly joined to the pot so there will be no swiveling handles after prolonged use!
Hi –
Wish there are 2 spouts
Great cooking pot. However, I do wish that the pouring spout is on both sides. For those of us who prefer to hold heavy pots with left hand, it would help a lot. It’s awkward and can be a bit dangerous when the pot is hot and full.Hopefully the company will read this and take it into consideration for future versions.

Cusisinart 2 quart sauce pan and cover.
Cusisinart 2 quart sauce pan is everything I’d hoped for. Stainless steel finish – no teflon finish to chip and scar. I had ordered the 1/2 quart and 1 quart size earlier which are great for single person but occasionally I have company and this is great as are the other two sizes.
