Bringing Your Grill Into The Kitchen
Since my wife’s disability made it very difficult to withstand the rigors of cooking, I have become the Cook in residence. I have added utensils that make cooking easier and more consistent. I was hesitant at first that it would do what the ad-copy said it would do. My first use of the grill pan the night I received it put all my hesitations and unbelief’s to rest. The grilled hamburgers looked and tasted as if they had come off of my char-griller! I have “grilled” Pork Steaks, Rib-eye Steaks and they all come out just perfect. Even heat distribution, no ‘warping’ of the pan from increased heating, super easy to clean and while they are dishwasher safe, I wash them by hand and it is still looking like new. A great gift idea that is reasonably priced. I never thought I would own a pan like this, and I am glad I took the chance to try it out.UPDATE: I have used it 2-3 times per week now (two months) and it still looks new, does not have hot spots, no warping and is an excellent grill pan. Super easy to clean and for getting the perfect melt of cheese on burgers I use a tempered glass vented lid from a 3-qt pan. Works great, highly recommended!

So much love for this pan
We are a military family and while we could purchase a BBQ grill, I’d prefer to not just in case we are sent somewhere that we couldn’t have or use it. I actually own the smaller cookware set that this grill pan matches, and I love the whole set. This grill pan is no exception, it’s a wonderful addition to the set, and I love it so much.I’ve made pork chops and steak with this so far, and it’s performed beautifully. Beautiful grill marks, even cooking, not much smoke. It is pretty large. I saw that someone’s review said they would have preferred the 10 inch pan. For practicality, yes, the 10 inch would be a better fit, but at $30 (at the time of purchase) this was a crazy good deal. I do have a gas stove so the size isn’t much of an issue. It heats up really evenly, no hot spots that I noticed while cooking with it.Like the rest of the set, this pan is non-stick, cleans easily, and is oven safe up to 500F. On the reviews for the set there were people complaining about the non-stick finish coming off, so a word of advice: DO NOT USE NON-STICK COOKING SPRAY.Non-stick cooking spray has additives and a lower burn temperature than traditional vegetable oils, using it on ANY non-stick cookware surface can cause damage to the surface.Really, it’s a great grill pan. No regrets getting this pan, and I think that along with the rest of the set, taking good care of this pan will lead to many, MANY years of use.

Grilling On The Stove
There is no question with all the gadgets for grilling and making foods like the George Forman Grill and the Cuisinart Griddler, there have been fewer options for finding an alternative way of grilling with the stove. Fortunately, there are some pots and pans that work well, without the hastle. Cuisinart’s Hard-Anodized Grill Pan, is a nice and safe alternative. It is lightweight, and weighs just as much as a normal frying pan, yet it grills your favorites foods like chicken and burgers all with ease. It really holds up well, at a affordable price. I really recommend this for anyone who need a grill pan, or if you’re tired of the barbecue to grill all your foods. Give this Cuisinart Grill Pan a try, and find a new way to grill off the stove.Price: BConvience: BOverall: B

A good grill pan that you could depend on
I chose this grill pan for below reasons:(1) 12″ pan is just the right size to cook for a small family(2) 12″ pan: I can get a same size lid easily; luckily I have an existing one at home(3) quick grill cooking without using my BBQ grill that requires lots of clean up(4) ease of cleaning: just put it in a dish washer if you wish. I often hand washed cos it is faster and I can use the pan the next day(5) oven safe: should you decide to put it in the oven to get the grill lines, you can do that because the handle is metal, not plastic.I do hope that the pan is 1cm taller to prevent splattering everywhere. But since I have a lid (not included in the product), I cover it, works for me.Tips: After washing (esp. hand wash), there might be residual oil (trapped between the grill lines), use a kitchen towel to wipe it clean before next use.I strive to write meaningful reviews and hope this review is helpful for you. Happy shopping.

Good enough
I bought this pan to do veggies in skewers…after about 20 minutes overy high flame. Not much had cooked and it was burning in spots so I took them off skewers and it was fine. Disappointed it didn’t work for my purpose and I haven’t tried with poultry/fish yet. It cleaned up easy but I decided to hand wash and dry..I noticed rust in the grooves on bottom which was odd since I just used it for first timr. Kind of weird…did they send me a used one?

Great Pan, Hand-wash only, but Fabulous
I love my skillet! It goes from stove straight to the oven if needed, makes nice grill marks on my meat, and washes clean very easily. I use a silicon sponge and warm soapy water. No scratches so far, but I am extremely careful and use a silicon tongs for turning, and put it away without stacking in other pots and pans. It is not dishwasher safe, which I wish it was, but otherwise, probably the best skillet and stovetop grill I have ever owned. Much lighter than cast iron, too, which makes it easy to handle. Itâs quite big, but Itâs worth making room for.

Saw this pan being used to make perfect grilled halibut on Ina Gartenâs show and she didnât reveal the maker so I scoured the internet and found it here. Easy to handleâso light. Grill marks oh ya! Cooked to perfection.
