Excellent on many levels.
First, contrary to what some reviews have suggested, I believe that this is a 10 qt pot. The interior markings end at 9 Qts but there is 10 qt capacity above the last mark up to the rim. So it holds 10 qts technically but not practically or usefully. For me, that’s not an issue at all. It’s a great size for cooking pasta, soup, chili, ragu, etc. So many pots this size are taller. This one is slightly shorter and wider which makes it easier to store and probably a little easier to heat through with the contents not quite so deep. It performed really well browning beef chunks for ragu. I do believe the heating and browning was better and more even than my much more expensive stainless All-Clad pans. Clean up has been easy and the mirror finish is still looking great. Didn’t think I’d find the cup markings inside so useful. How did I live without them? Pasta water amount is measured as it’s filling up and always easy to be consistent. We often make a whole or double recipe of soups, chili, pasta sauces, divide equally and freeze half. No extra measuring now. Just use interior marks to determine half. This pot has been a dream to use, made things easier in both cooking and clean up, and has been so much more than I expected.

Holds a good sauce
I made a hollandaise sauce today using this pot. It held ten sausages, two bracioles, and about 25 meatballs with some room to spare. The lid is nice although the handle may be too high to fit in the fridge when I stick the pot in tonight but I can always cover in foil. The handle isnât too hot to touch thought while the pot is on the stove which is good. Itâs very warm but not burning.

Quality construction at a reasonable price
My 10 quart Cuisinart stock pot arrived today. After reading some of the reviews I was surprised at the criticism this product received. Some comments cited thin stainless steel construction as well as not being shipped with a glass lid. This stock pot is well made and it is a perfect size for most cooking needs. If you like the glass lid, order the 10 quart size. The glass lid fits perfectly. The handle on the lid is generously sized and the handles on the stock pot are large making it easy to lift. If you want a quality stock pot for your cooking needs at a reasonable price I would recommend this product.

Truly great pot, easy to clean
I wanted a new soup pot that would have a heavy bottom and be easy to clean. My old one was so thin that it would burn on the bottom and take forever to clean. This one is just fantastic. It looks great and it was super easy to clean, even after having a sauce bubbling away on the stove for three hours. Couldnât be more pleased!

The Beast
I needed a larger stock pot because I make excess amounts of soup. This one for the bill. As a bonus, itâs decent grade stainless stainless steel and distribute heat well. Soon, we shall conquer the world.

no chemicals, just stainless steel
I am slowly changing out all my pots and pans to this Cuisinart series because they do not contain any Teflon or other coating. They are easy to clean and look good too. I still have the first Cuisinart pan I bought in 2004 and use it almost daily.

I took a chance and ordered the 10 qt stockpot that was listed used but in like new condition for $48. The manufacturerâs box was very beaten up but, the pot and lid are in mint condition – no scratches or dents. Huge score on this item.It has some weight to it so it should last and the finishing looks impeccable. Perfect size for a smaller family when making south broth, pasta, pasta sauces and stews. Even for simmering small pot roasts.Iâll be watching the marketplace for other deals and wonât hesitate to purchase, knowing they too can be returned for refund is not satisfied.

This 8 Qt pot is just the right size for making stock, not to big, not too small. I’m switching over to stainless steel pots and pans because they can be cleaned really well. Stainless steel may me a little pricier than other pots but I think we get our money’s worth because they should last longer as long as we take care of them.

Food did not scald the bottom and it was very easy to clean. Great pot to make soup, stews and chili.

We previously had the Le Creuset 12-quart stockpot that only lasted a couple of years because the bottom kept burning after each use even though we followed the care instructions. We replaced it with this Cuisinart 12-quart stockpot and are very happy with it so far after 2 years of use. Looking forward to getting many more years out of it!
