Best plates ever!!
I got my first set of Corelle dishes in September 2004. They’re over 20 years old and still in great shape! The ONLY time I’ve had one break is when I had it in the freezer for several hours and dropped it. Totally my fault and not Corelle’s!I needed some smaller plates and wanted Corelle brand. My original set just has the big dinner plates and bowls. I came across these and ordered four sets to have 24 plates. These are the perfect size for smaller meals and/or children!! We’ve had them for nearly 8 months now, dropped them so many times, and none have broken. They do not scratch easily at all, they get really clean in the dishwasher but the dishwasher doesn’t beat them up at all like some dishes. I love the pure clean white color of these too.I will always buy Corelle dishes because the quality is unmatched!!

Iâm very pleased, and I DID RECEIVE THE 38 piece set and serving bowls I was expecting today .
I ordered and received the two sets of 6 that I ordered and they were packed very well when received with no breakage. Iâm very happy with these 8-1/2â plates. Iâm hoping the 38 piece service for 12 that I also ordered comes in with no broken pieces. These two sets of lunch size plates will then complete the full 12-piece set that I am replacing my heavy stoneware with. Very happy. So far these 12 plates take up very little space in my cabinet. My hubby and I are elderly so we love how lightweight they are. I had a Corelle set about 50 years ago and didnât realize just how good they were until I traded my stonewear for them. Wish I had kept my old set.UPDATE: Today, I received the 38 piece set and the four serving bowls I was expecting delivery on, and I can tell you they were very well packed. I unpacked, hand washed and inspected each piece and there were absolutely no cracks, chips or imperfections on any of them. The shipping was a little delayed because of the snow storm a couple of days ago which dumped 9 inches of snow here in Amarillo.I am so very well pleased with this set. Can’t wait to add pieces as I can. The set takes up only a quarter of the space my old stoneware did! I’m now a Corelle lady for life!

Clean and pure white – best for microwave heating
These look like simple white plates and yes they are. I love them because I know they are spotlessly clean, since there is not design. Having read about colored paints and possible leaching when used in a microwave oven, I chose these and would strongly recommend this for safe and clean plates.

Matte finish, but still a pretty plate
This is my first time owning Corelle dishes. Decades ago I used them at other’s homes. I was really looking for something that could stack 12 plates in a small space. I bought two 6pk lunch plates and two 6pk appetizer plates. These really fit the bill. I love the design of these in the pictures from Amazon. However when I got them in the colors are not very rich. That’s not a big deal for me because I still like the design and the colors. The other thing that I found to be unexpected was it’s a matte finish rather than a glossy finish. I was expecting there to be a gloss over the design rather than it feeling somewhat like chalk paint. Hopefully they hold up well over time. I’ve only used my plates a couple of times since I received them, but I absolutely love them. They are very Compact and lightweight and I like that not each design is exactly alike. Think design on the appetizer plates are not consistent with one another as far as color but still very pretty. There are variations of saturation of color… almost like a watercolor painting. I personally like that because it makes each plate unique rather than looking mass-produced. I will be looking to see if there are other items, besides plates, in this design that I can buy.

Easy to store – crisp white, nice feel, easy to wash
Love the simplicity of crisp white, especially when we entertain. With a huge crowd, we found we needed extra dishes, so we purchased several sets of Corelle dinner plates and sandwich plates. These store in our pantry most of the year, without taking up a ton of space. They load in the dishwasher nicely, and people can handle them easily (not too heavy or bulky for my mother-in-law’s arthritic hands). We’re trying to avoid paper plates and plastic silverware, and this is an excellent solution. They really are shatter resistant, as we’ve dropped a few plates and they didn’t even chip!
