Outstanding cookware!
Only my 2nd time writing a review for cookware but Amazon deserves a writeup for this pot. Most of my cookware is by the biggest American brand of stainless steel cookware (& probably a tad overpriced as well) but I needed to replace the multipot from that brand since they haven’t returned my pot that was sent in for warranty replacement due to sharp edges. Anyway, I also wanted something bigger as that pot made cooking pasta for 6 difficult. This 1 is surprisingly large but it’s EXACTLY what I was looking for. As far as quality, it’s got some weight to it & washing by hand can be tedious. IMHO, it compares favorably to that other name brand (AC) & I couldn’t begin to imagine what that company would charge for a pot like this! It heats up quickly on my induction range & hasn’t boiled over yet, unlike my smaller name brand pot. The lid that comes with it fits perfect & the handle on it stays cool, though it does stick up a lot higher than the name brand pot.

Solid addition to my kitchen
This replaced a smaller aluminum pasta kettle, and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Clean up is so easy compared to the aluminum and everything seems to cook more evenly. If you’re on the fence, just get it.

Best pasta pot ever.
I like everything about this fabulous stainless steel pasta/steamer pot. It is very well made, solid construction, pasta insert sits deeply into pot to accommodate plenty of water to cook more than a pound of pasta. Water does not boil up over sides of insert if not over filled, thatâs a good thing. Steamer insert generous size and fits well.I returned 2 other tri ply stainless steel pasta pots or multi cook pots because pasta inserts sat too high in pots to accommodate a pound of pasta. They were also 4 times the price of this Cooks Standard Classic probably due to the others being fully tri ply. How often does this happen, best product for less money.I find this 12 qt pot to be completely functional, well constructed and attractive as well. Best pasta pot ever! Thank you.

Larger Then Expected
Probably my fault for not reading closer but this set was larger than expected. I will still use it but it is a little hard to store. Overall a nice set.

Big!
I guess I never paid attention to the sizes of these pots can come in but this is big. Probably could be used in a commercial kitchen. Heavy duty everything works great

Love it!
Just the right size for my boiling and blanching- not too big, fits on my stovetop, and I can still lift it! Heavy stainless, thick bottom, everything fits together snug, its just a sturdy beautiful piece of cookware.Update: using for a couple months now, and I discovered 2 things- 1. That it is actually about twice as big as I actually needed after running a bunch of batches of veggies through it to blanch and freeze. I really thought the great piles of veg I chop and prep needed more room in the pot! And 2. Because of the huge size, it takes longer to bring up to a boil and this slows my progress⦠over all, I still love the pot, but be aware, you almost need an industrial burner to put out the btuâs to keep this big boy up and boiling at a speedy rate.

This set is really well built and sturdy. I love how flexible its features are, and it will hold a good-sized portion of anything you cook in it. The steamer basket is very large too. The best part for me is it can manage up to 500 degrees in the oven — so it could be laid on its side to use as an oven above a firepit for cooking (I have a thermometer to make sure it’s not too hot), with food/baking on trays inside. I got small copper clips to hold the lid on and they work great! I can’t wait to try it out this summer!

This pot is one-of-a-kind. I just adore it. Making bone broth has never been more easy. ðThe quality of this pot is truly impressive. Itâs extremely well made. The stainless steel lid is a nice touch, as most have glass lids.Of course you gotta use a little common sense and realize that even though the large strainer/steamer basket comes up higher than the pot itself, you only fill liquid levels to the top of the actual pot, not the top of the basket, or youâll have some serious leakage when you remove the basket. This pot is going to be very well used over the years. Itâs so useful, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. Everyone always compliments it and asks where I got it from. Iâm beyond happy with this purchase and feel very blessed to have this fantastic pot. It is worth every penny. â¥ï¸

Great to use. With or without using the steamer or the strainer items it’s very versatile and a very useful cooking item to have.
