Cooks bacon like a Boss!
I bought this pan exclusively for cooking bacon, and it does so like a boss. The rectangular shape is dramatically better for getting 6 strips in at once, and all cooking pretty evenly. The pan is sturdy, but not heavy like cast iron would be, is very easy to clean, and leaves the bacon beautifully crispy, the only way my wife will eat it.How well will it hold up over time? IDK yet, but for the price, if it lasts a year it was a good buy in my opinion.

This pan does a great job of grilling chicken breasts and chicken thighs. It leaves great Grill marks. Itâs extremely easy to clean. I wash it by hand rather than put it in the dishwasher because I donât want the heat and the harsh detergents from the dishwasher lifting the nonstick service, but itâs absolutely great and everything Iâve cooked so far turns out beautifully, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Unboxed this today and decided to try some chicken breasts. I usually use a heavy cast iron grill pan but wanted something a little more light weight.I seared the chicken on both sides, then transferred it to a 350 degree oven to finish. Turned out great. Clean up was a breeze. This grossly outperformed the KitchenAid equivalent.I deducted a star because the ridges could stand to be a bit taller to give a more consistent sear pattern – and to keep grease and oil drippings away from food.

In the back of my pantry, I found a brand-new cast iron grill pan that I had forgotten I bought. I had never used cast iron before. I washed it and then went through the crazy process of seasoning the pan with oil in it in the oven for an hour, even though it was supposedly pre-seasoned. JUNK!!! My chicken cutlets stuck and my house was full of smoke. Then, it was a nightmare to even try to clean…I was so sad and disappointed…I then decided I would find a better alternative. I did quite a bit of research, both on Amazon and other sites. I read reviews and watched videos…Finally, I settled on this grill pan and I am so happy I did! This pan is perfect. It cooks everything wonderfully and is very easy to clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a grill pan who doesn’t want to deal with the prospect of cast iron. Plus, if you really think about it, it’s pretty gross that you are not supposed to wash cast iron!Bottom line, if you want a grill pan this one is the best value and quality combination it does what it is supposed to do, is very durable and is super-easy to clean. I love this pan! This is a definite buy!

well made heats evenly over surface
I use these raised “grill” skillets all the time. ( we’re talking years} and most have finish wear away as main issue. This one is my favorite hands down. My go to and I hand wash for my personal choice to protect finish. It is dishwasher safe. Everything cooks evenly, the higher sides is a big plus. bacon, chicken, chops, burgers, steak even veggies. I have cooked frozen boneless chicken breast on this with just adding a large lid I have and never have dried out meats. Can’t say enough with this specific size & the raised sides fits cooktop perfectly without getting in the way of using additional burner. 2 years out being used weekly & still amazing results.

Honestly I expected this pan to be similar to the one I bought at one of the big box stores but I was very pleased to see it is much more heavy duty and has a lot of cooking surface! I was able to cook 12 large burgers at once. Clean up was a breeze too – just added dawn and hot water while it was still hot and let it sit for about 20 minutes…. basically wiped right out! I did use cooking spray prior to adding the burgers. Love this pan and use it quite often!!
